North American P-51D Mustang, Boogie's Burner

File Description:
This very worn out P-51 was formerly "Denver Belle" which was assigned to the 364th FG / 384th FS at Honington and Flown by Capt. John A. Walker from 5 Aug 44 until his tour was over. The Mustang was then renamed "Boogie's Burner" and flown by Lt. William J. Cobb until it was damaged beyond economical repair on 16 May 1945, when it flipped onto her back in a landing incident at Honington. Requires purchase of A2A WOP3 P-51 package from A2A Simulations.

Marianas 1945 is FSX scenery covering Guam, Tinian, Saipan and the small island north to the Maug Islands in 1945. The folder Marianas 1945_Base Files contains two instruction files. Marianas 1945 Readme describes the scenery and has the instructions for installation. Shorelines is very important with instructions for producing the shorelines throughout the scenery.

A separate readme.txt file will be uploaded and linked to this file with installation instructions and contact information in addition to the included file in Doc format.

Lockheed's first fighter, the prototype P-38 was destroyed only a few weeks after its first flight. No in-flight photographs of this historic aircraft exist, so this model was designed specifically to imagine how it may have looked in flight. Full-featured FSDS2 model, with reflective metal textures, dynamic VC, animated parts (control surfaces, Fowler flaps, landing gear, gear suspension, rolling wheels, cooling vents, canopy, landing light, yoke, etc.) Complete package, including authentic P-38 sounds recorded by author. Ver. 1.3: updated for FS2004.

P51D NL51HY "Quick Silver"

File Description:
P-51D-30 45-11439 became N5071K with Norton M. Smith, Seattle, WA, 1963-1964. It was later registered as NL51HY with Barbara Hunter from Lewisburg, WV, July 14, 1998-2002 and is currently with Rancho Linda Vista LLC. Back in the air after a long restoration, it is painted in a striking paintscheme, with D-day stripes and post war roundels as "Quick Silver". Repaint of the Shockwave WWII Fighters P-51D Mustang by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by John Terrell.
