Inductotherm Airport (3NJ6), NJ

File Description:
Located 01 miles E of Rancocas, New Jersey, Inductotherm Airport is a private airstrip. No storage is offered for transient aircraft, although there is ample room on the tarmac if you wish to park there. You can also start from a parking spot - wingspans greater than 50 feet must start on the runway. 100LL fuel available by stopping near the fuel tank, Jet-A fuel available by landing near the fuel truck. Trees are summertime ONLY. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview, the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 002. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

Westbrook Airport (3NJ9), NJ

File Description:
No idea what this airport is - no registries list it and even Google doesn't find it. The actual 3NJ9 is Allen Airstrip Airport, a private turf strip dozens of miles south of where FSX thinks this strip is. This strip in FSX is actually right next to Hill Top Airport (JY43) - which is a private asphalt strip that isn't included in FSX. I will probably add that airport when I get to it. I tried removing this strip and changing the airport location to Allen Airstrip but that just makes the default strip override the new one. So I've simply left it where it is and removed the runway. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New York 005. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

Alliance Airport (23NJ), NJ

File Description:
Located 02 miles SE of Pittsgrove, New Jersey on 3 acres of land, Alliance Airport is a privately-owned turf airstrip included in FSX. If you don't plan on making any trips here, then this AFCAD file will remove the runway and prevent it from randomly sticking out on the satellite textures. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview, the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 004. Rudys Airport (25N), NJ

File Description:
Located near Newfield, New Jersey, Rudys Airport is a privately-owned turf airstrip. Trees close to the runway on one end and water on the other can provide for a challenging approach. The turf strip is 2364x100 with a heading of 08/26. Trees are summertime ONLY. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview, the author has not been there in person. Marlboro Airport (2N8), NJ

File Description:
Marlboro Airport in Matawan, NJ was closed in 2002. The runway has been modified to reflect its closed status and all taxiways, buildings, etc have been stripped to show satellite textures. FSX doesn't simulate old broken down runways possibly breaking your landing gear so if you still want to hit that with a Touch and Go I'm sure the virtual FAA won't notice.

Winchelsea Airport (8NJ0), NJ

File Description:
Located 01 miles W of Port Republic, New Jersey, Winchelsea Airport is a private turf strip. Pay very, very close attention to the published length of this grass runway: 980'. This is in addition to 50ft tree obstacles at either end of the runway. Double-check your aircraft's takeoff and landing distances before visiting this airfield!! A strong headwind is suggested for operations out of this location. Also take note the traffic patterns vary for each runway. There are no transient services offered and the airport is not lit at night so daytime VFR use only is suggested. There is no hard surface runway so set your terrain mesh slider as high as you can for the best effect of landing on terrain.

Stallone Airport (9NJ5), NJ

File Description:
Located 01 miles SE of Harrisonville, New Jersey, Stallone Airport is a private turf strip 1350' in length. However it should be noted that the actual length from the road to the trees on the opposite end of the runway is actually only around 900'. It is tightly hemmed in by trees so if you are landing on Runway 29 you may want to use Slew to turn your plane around to remove the risk of bumping into a tree instead. If you land on Runway 11 you can cross the road to turn around in the field opposite the runway. The windsock can be seen from both runways. Power lines run along the heights of the trees as well for the Runway 29 approach, on the same side as the trees though so not really any additional worry there. No transient services are available. There is no hard surface runway so make sure your terrain mesh slider is set as high as possible for a suitably bumpy ground experience. Coombs Airport (7NJ7), NJ

File Description:
Located 04 miles NE of Elmer, New Jersey, Coombs Airport is a private turf field 2000' in length wilth clear 20:1 approach and departure at each end of the runway. You'll find some surrounding buildings but they are all located several hundred yards from the runway. This is a good strip to keep in mind for emergencies if you're in the area. You will be landing on terrain so having your mesh complexity set as high as possible is recommended. This airport is not lit at night, daytime VFR operations only are suggested. There are no transient services offered. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. Vliet Airport (6NJ1), NJ

File Description:
Located 02 miles SE of Washington, New Jersey, Vliet Airport is a private turf field. Trees border the runway on three sides, and a dirt mound and semi-truck are also obstacles to watch out for at the end of Runway 06 if you land long. At 1300' feet, it is a very short runway so make sure you check the capabilities of your aircraft before attempting to either land or take off here! Don't forget that in order to clear trees, usable runway space is closer to only 1000'. This airport has no lighting so daytime VFR operations only are recommended. Take note that there is also no wind sock, so be sure you are aware of the weather conditions prior to arriving/departing. There is also no hard-surfaced runway and you will be landing on terrain so it's suggested you have your mesh resolution slider as high as possible. Airport ID Gauge - UPDATE

File Description:
At the request of several users, I have edited the xml script for the Airport ID gauge to make the displayed text more easily read. Instead of a Green ICAO code and Red airport name and city, the text is now all Green. Also the icon has been changed to black and white so it blends with the other default icons. This is just a replacement cab file so no further editing to what you may have already installed is necessary however a previous installation of Airport_ID.zip is required. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the very simple installation instructions. Compiled for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.
