File Description:
This repaint features textures of the Texas Air National Guard C-130H's based on the Simshed C-130 model. Base textures were borrowed from Ray Crivello's Hurricane Hunter scheme and modified by me with replacement roundels, recoloring/tinting, and unit markings and tail numbers. These aircraft feature 32-bit textures for the exterior and virtual cockpit, photo-realistic tails and accurate markings. Requires c130rda3.zip.

These repaints of the Warwick P-51 package represent the two most recent paint schemes of "Mormon Mustang" seen in 2006 before a crash in Idaho and more recently, 2009 after full restoration. It features accurate, 32-bit markings as seen in several sets of photographs used as reference, and depicts the plane as it was before the accident and in its current scheme. Requires "P51DVER2.ZIP" by Warwick Carter.

The airline was formed in 1948 to undertake freight and passenger charters from Liverpool (Speke) Airport. It also provided joyriding flights in a fleet of twin-engined Avro Anson aircraft. The airline acquired a number of Douglas DC-3s in the early fifties to operate seasonal tourist charters and built-up a network of scheduled services from Liverpool including flights to continental European destinations (Lourdes, Biarritz). In 1957 the airline purchased the larger four-engined Douglas DC-4 with another example purchased in 1958. The first DC-4 charter was flown on 8 January, 1958 between Liverpool and Southend with football supporters. In 1959 the airline introduced the turbo-prop Vickers Viscount aircraft for use on inclusive tour flights. In November 1963 Starways signed a co-operation agreement with British Eagle International Airlines. Operations continued unchanged though, running schedules from Liverpool to Glasgow and Heathrow. However, on 31st December 1963 Starways ceased operating and on 1st January 1964 British Eagle took over all the former Starways routes. The directors of Starways retained the aircraft and formed a separate company named Aviation Overhauls and then either sold or leased the aircraft to other operators. The Air Atlantique Group started as an air taxi operation in 1969 under the name of General Aviation Services, based in Jersey, Channel Islands. The Air Atlantique name was adopted in June 1977 when the company launched into freight charter work with a fleet of Douglas DC-3s, with most activity being transferred to the UK mainland in the early 1980s. The Group moved to its present base in Coventry in December 1985. In 1987 they were awarded an oil pollution control and spraying contract for the Department of Trade. This contract had previously been operated by Harvest Air which had gone into liquidation. Air Atlantique also acquired the two DC-3's that had been operated in the role by Harvest Air. Today, Air Atlantique still operates two DC-3 aircraft as part of the Air Atlantique Classic Flight. The Air Atlantique Classic Flight has just re-branded itself to ClassicFlight.com, but still retains the Air Atlantique heritage by using the Air Atlantique name in its logo. The DC3's in Harvest Air livery will be available as a separate download package 'harvest_dc3s.zip' .Repaints by John Payne. Original DC-3 base textures courtesy of Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont. South West Aviation started at Exeter in 1966 commencing operations with a Piper Aztec. By early 1968 the airline had grown and acquired a Shorts Skyvan on lease and had established footholds at Bristol Lulsgate and Swansea as well as Exeter. Late 1968 they acquired their first DC3 aircraft G-APBC which operated numerous charter flights within UK and to Ireland and the rest of Europe. It was used for airborne filming of the 'Torrey Canyon' and Aberfan disasters. A second DC3 G-AMYJ was acquired in 1969. Initially the DC3's carried out most of their flying from SW England and S Wales. However, in April 1969 'BC started charter operations between Norwich, Tesside and Aberdeen in support of the North Sea oil industry. 1970 saw the introduction of scheduled air services to Cherbourg from both Exeter and Southampton using the DC3. In 1972 SWA were bought out by Ashford based Air Freight Ltd and the name of South West Aviation disappeared. Requires default DC-3.

Bristow Helicopters was one of the early suppliers of offshore helicopter services in the United Kingdom and operated Westland Wessex 60 helicopters from the mid 1960's until the early 1980's. This set of twenty repaints depicts twelve different UK registered airframes painted in one or more of the five different livery variations. Requires the Simshed Westland Wessex (RAF) - file name 'wessex1.zip'.

British United Airways was formed in 1960 and brought together the operations of Airwork, Air Charter, Hunting-Clan Transport, Morton Air Services, Olley Air Services, Silver City Airways and Transair. Some of these operators, for a time, continued operating in their own liveries but eventually wore 'British United' colours. This set of repaints features ten different airframes operated in British United colours. Repaints by John Payne. Requires default DC-3.

File Description:
Formed at Norwich Airport in 1969 by Anglian Air Charter and Norfolk Airways to provide air support flights for oil companies prospecting in the North Sea. In November 1969 they took delivery of a DC-3 which was used on ad-hoc charter flights from Norwich. In August 1970 Rig-Air became a part of Air Anglia Ltd. The formation of this airline had been announced in July, merging Anglian Air Charter, Norfolk Airways and Rig-Air together. Requires the default Douglas DC-3.

Lease Air Ltd, trading as Eastern Airways, commenced operations in 1973. It operated various aircraft on behalf of corporate customers as well as owning a small fleet of DC-3's and went on to become a scheduled service operator with services from Humberside. In the early 1980's its scheduled air services Humberside to Heathrow via Norwich, re-introduced the DC-3 on scheduled services into Heathrow, a sight that had not been seen for some time. In 1982 the business was sold to General Relays and the operating name changed to "Genair". The company was a founder member of "British Caledonian Commuter Division". The DC-3's were replaced on scheduled services by Shorts 330/360 aircraft but remained on the fleet operating passenger and cargo charter flights until the company ceased trading in 1984. Throughout their time with the company the DC-3's remained in the Eastern Airways colours.

Gregory Air Taxis was formed in 1963 with Piper Comanche, Twin Comanche and Aztec aircraft with bases at Denham and later Liverpool. In 1964 the Liverpool base closed and a new base established at Sunderland. In April 1965 a DC-3 was acquired which was based at Newcastle to undertake charter work from there. The Sunderland base was closed at this time and a Twin Comanche joined the DC-3 at Newcastle. The arrival of the DC-3 saw the operating name of Air Gregory being adopted. After the introduction of the DC-3 followed the introduction an HS125 executive jet in December 1965 which was based at Luton. To operate this aircraft and the DC-3, a new company named Gregory Air Services was formed which became responsible for the operations of all aircraft above 12,500lbs AUW. The DC-3 was sold in October 1968. Requires the default Douglas DC-3.
