File Description: Tips and Tricks for FS2004 - Issue Number 25 - Addenda. This latest issue of Tips and Tricks is a compilation of various items which have crossed my desk since the "final" issue was released in November of 2006. Many new, and hopefully useful, ideas are presented with the goal of providing something of interest for those who are new to FS2004 as well as experienced users. One segment details the procedures I used to setup a second installation of FS2004 on the same hard drive. Additionally, there are two "from the e-mail bag" segments which answer questions of general interest plus a special set of Bonus files. An updated index for the entire series (compiled by John Burford) is also included. Please unzip to a temporary folder. Compiled in doc and pdf formats for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.

File Description: The members of Military AI Works are proud to bring you this freeware AI package, produced by Gary Barker and updated with the brand new KRMG T-6 Texan II by Mark Campbell. The package contains everything needed to fully activate HELLENIC AIR FORCE T-6 traffic at all HELLENIC AIR FORCE T-6 bases. Algerian Transports Package V2

File Description: This freeware AI package, produced by Miljan Korac in conjunction with Military AI Works , features the Beech 1900D, C-295M, C-130H/H-30 and IL-76/78 aircraft of the Algerian Air Force based at Boufarik Air Base (DAAK). Algeria is a user of both western and eastern technologies in its Air Force the fleet makes flights all over the world but mostly in Europe. Algeria still keeps its Air Force numbers a secret so data for this package was based on best available information but is not intended to be 100% accurate. This package also includes custom made scenery for Boufarik Air Base (DAAK) including a custom made gate guard Mig-21 model also by Miljan Korac. New 300-m (LOD7) Terrain Mesh of British Columbia and Southeast Alaska #4

File Description:
Mid-resolution (300-m) terrain mesh for the entire province of British Columbia (950,000 square km) and the Alaska panhandle southeast of N60 W139. Made from 250m-resolution source data without oversampling. Easy on frame rates and hard drive space. It transforms the rounded mountains of the default terrain mesh into a much more realistic representation of the diverse topography of this beautiful corner of the world. Experience the spectacular scenery between Vancouver and Atlin, Juneau and Fort St. John, and Mount Robson to Clayoquot Sound. Fourteen independent mesh tiles allow you to select the region(s) you like best. Several high-resolution add-on meshes will be uploaded separately. By Holger Sandmann. USAAF B-24D "Brewery Wagon" 376th BG 9th AAF

File Description:
This B-24D-25-CO #41-24294 was assigned to the 512th Bomb Squadron, 376th Bomb Group, 9th AAF. This aircraft was assigned to 1Lt Bob Storz and he named the ship after their family brewery in Omaha, Nebraska. On the 1 Aug 1943 Ploesti mission, 1Lt John Palm's crew took it to that fiery target. Realizing the 376th lead ship and commander had made a wrong turn, Palm broke away and made directly for the refineries by himself. Severely battered by the ground defenses, Palm struggled toward the target. They never made it for Hauptmann Wilhelm Steinmann from 1/JG4 found the cripple and shot them down. Palm and seven other men emerged from the wreck to become POWs. They had the dubious distinction of being the first Liberator to fall to the defenses that day. Textures only, requires the original PAYWARE Alpha-Sim aircraft.

This package depicts VFA-106 which is the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps east coast Hornet and Superhornet fleet replacement squadron. This squadron is used to train new and transitioning F/A-18 pilots and weapon systems operators. This package depicts VFA-106 operations at NAS Oceana as well as the detachments at NAS Key West. As a bonus, this package also depicts the F-5s of VFC-111 stationed at NAS Key West.
