This is an image collection of 49 ships representing port facility vessels, tankers, container ships and other commercially used ships - Requires LOM (available on this site) and EZ Scenery Library ez_gmax_ships_library.zip also available on this site. Also included is a set of higher resolution screenshots to upgrade those images imported into LOM. Higher resolution screenshots are suitable for printing an index or contact sheet of images. File Description:
F4U-1D FF59 VMF351 USS Cape Gloucester, July 1945. Flown by Lt. Col. Donald K. Yost, USMC. Yost led his MAG aboard the USS Cape Gloucester; being one of the first F4U units to enter combat aboard an escort carrier. The photo from which this skin was copied was from p. 131 of the book, "The Blue Devils."
