FS2002 Val-U-Prop Douglas DC-4M Canadair
Val-U-Prop has now acquired a DC-4 - and it's a special aircraft. Based on the original work of Tom Gibson and Harry Follas, this is a DC-4M Canadair. It features Merlin engines, a pressurized cabin, and is fully animated, with FS2002 strobe/nav/beacon/landing lights added. The superb flight dynamics of Brian Horsey insure an easy to fly and land aircraft, and the spot and tower view frame rates are the highest you will find anywhere. Aircraft will work in FS2000 as well. This package includes the panel Dc4jcuv2.zip, and the two together comprise a combination that makes Val-U-Prop truly the airline where "No job is too small; No fee too large." File Description:
Val-U-Prop is a rogue airline based in Bloomington, Indiana, that flies everything from VIPs to sheep manure anyplace and anytime. VP's motto is "No job too small; No fee too large," and our DC-3's, DC-4's, DC-6's and DC-8's can be seen hedge-hopping into various obscure airports throughout the world. This aircraft is an all-aluminum re-paint of the fabulous DC-3 OH-LCH by Jan Visser, Erik Ellis, Roy Chaffin, Ian Roper and Bill Rambow, to which FS2002 lights have been added. It has military capability, including machine guns and NUCLEAR/GPS/JDAM guided bomb launch. Panel includes everything on main panel, except for GPS and (optional) default radios, so there is no tabbing. The very aluminal wing views were shot by Thomas Klein, and the vintage C-47 cabin was photographed by Tom Turner. Gauges by James Underwood, Ernie Kennedy and Dai Griffiths. File Description:
These files are updated sound files for the Electras uploaded by Bill Schulz of the Cielo Company, and for the Chris Buff Gmax L-188's. These sounds were digitally sampled from Reeve Aleutian Airways Electras prior to their demise. I believe these FS2000 style sounds are better than the FS2002 versions, so I've left them intact so as not to have strong "echo" sounds. For real-world Electra operations visit www.flyelectra.com. Montmagny archipelago is a group of 21 islands located in the St. Lawrence River, between the northeastern tip of the Isle d'Orleans and the city of L'Islet.
Only the Isle-aux-Grues and Grosse-Ile are available to the public, other islands
are private.
This scenery include CSE5 airport, CSE5 hangar and terminal, CSH2 (Ile-aux-Grues) airport, CSH2 hangar and terminal, static planes, private strips, two AI ships moving in this area and many default FSX objects populating islands.

File Description:
I have reworked the afcad file so as planes line up at the gates, follow the taxi lines, and vehicle paths have been added with vehicle spots for the luggage and fuel vehicles. For GSX, I have repositioned the ramp vehicles and added passengers walking thru airport to gates. I am using the SODE jetways provided by Fly Tampa.
You must have P3Dv5, GSX, and GSX2 installed. This has not been tested with any other simulators.
