Convair CV-240-11, cn 132, in Swiss Air Lines livery of 1954. Delivered to Swiss Air Lines on February 26, 1949, registered HB-IRS and named "Glarus", a Swiss county. Bought by Mohawk Airlines on May 5, 1957, registered N1017C and named "Airchief Chippewa". Bought by Fairchild-Hiller Corporation in December 1966. Bought by Houston Aviation Products in November 1968, withdrawn from use and stored. Broken up at Houston, Texas in 1975.

File Description:
Convair CV-240-12, c/n 156. Delivered factory fresh to Sabena on March 30, 1949, registered OO-AWS and used on the company's European network from May 1949 on. Repainted during the summer of 1951 in the white-topped Sabena livery, with further modifications made to the tail livery in 1953. Served with the airline until replaced by the Convair CV-440 Metropolitan in 1956, sold to LOT of Poland on October 14, 1957, and re-registered SP-LPC. As such initially used by LOT on international routes and later, after its replacement by Viscounts and IL-18s, on domestic routes, until sold on January 17, 1966 to Westernair of Albuquerque and re-registered N656W. Subsequently operated by several operators in the US before being withdrawn from use sometime in the 1980s.

This is the base pack for the Airspeed AS.57 Ambassador (aka Elizabethan), a 1950s medium range British airliner. Includes visual models and textures for the sole surviving airframe in Dan-Air livery. This is an accurate GMax rendition for both FS2002 and FS2004-ACOF. Convair C-131A (CV-240-53), cn 53-10, delivered
to U.S. Airforce in 1954, assigned to Military
Air Transport Service (MATS). Converted to HC-131A
and transferred to United States Coast Guard (USCG)
on April 30, 1976, reregistered 5790. Bought by
Hawkins & Powers Aviation Inc. in February 1986.
In August 1988 withdrawn from use, donated to the
Robins Air Force Base Museum and placed on display.
Only textures of 1965 livery and associated model
file included. Requires cv240VBFmilitary_basepack_010.ZIP.

airliner from the fifties. This is a reloaded Gmax rendition based on the Calclassic Convair (by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson), but it is no longer compatible with that model. Base for further CB-16 add-ons prepared by VBF. Includes visual model and textures for a Convair CV-240-1 of Western Airlines, registration N8404H, with ventral staircase. A new Full AI Package for RFG Fluggesellschaft. In this Package you find the new Flightplan for 2010 (fictional) and the AI-Aircraft Textures for the AI Aardvark Embraer 170 & 190 (B), AI Malcontent Embraer 135, DJC Airbus A319 (CFM), OSP ATR 42-500 and OSP ATR 72-500.
RFG Regionalflug (Reise- und Industrieflug, Dortmund, Germany) was established in 1976 as a regional charter carrier. The airline merged with NFD on January 1, 1994
to form Eurowings.
The Callsign "RFG", for Editvoicepack, is by Hans-Juergen Merkel and can be found right here on AVSIM, Download ID = 121143, rfg.zip.
