File Description:
The JALGroup consists of Japan Airlines, JALWays, Japan Asia Airways, Japan Transocean Air, JAL Express, J-Air, Japan Air Commuter, Harlequin Air, and the newly merged Japan Air System. These 9 packages represent the first release of the JALGroup fleet. This is Pack #3 of 9. The first release contains Japan Airlines and J-Air. Contents of the packs include only textures. Aircraft models are by PAI, AIA, and FSP and can be obtained at the associated sites. Repaints are by Frank Bass.

MAAM-SIM DC-3

File Description:
These are 24-bit templates on which to base repaints of the FS2004/FS2002 MAAM-SIM DC-3 available from Mid-Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org. They cannot be used with the default FS2004 DC-3. This is not a 'paint kit' as such, as the original MAAM-SIM DC-3 bitmaps are partly photoreal. Rather, these are semi-finished templates on which to base further work. This initial package comprises bare metal and white top liveries for the base Passenger and Cargo DC-3 models in different variations, together with revised alpha channel templates. Simple instructions are included. These base textures reflect commonly found "background" configurations for many liveries, and will save repainters time by not having to get rid of the default colour schemes found in the original package before starting work. Please note that further templates will be issued to complement any future versions of the MAAM-SIM model. The intention is that those templates can be added to this base 'paintkit' folder, the methodology and basic instructions being similar for all paints. Where changes to the model invoke changes in texture mapping or other differences, this will be noted with each new package provided. Aero Fleet Pack 3

File Description:
Aeroflot began in March 1923 as Dobrolet with a mixed fleet of De Havilland, Vickers, Junkers and other aircraft. Dobrolet merged into Dobroflot in 1929 and flew all services within Russia. By 1932 the airline was called Aeroflot. After the second world war international sevices began. At one stage Aeroflot had a massive fleet of over 7,500 aircraft although this fleet was pretty much ALL the civilian aircraft in the former Soviet Union. Aeroflot began the world's first sustained jet airline service using Tupolev Tu-104 'Camel' jets (developed from the Tu-16 'Badger' bomber) on an extensive internal route network from the summer of 1955. The Tu-104 saw service until the mid-1970s. After the breakup of the Soviet Union Aeroflot broke up into lots of smaller carriers and became known as Aerflot - Russian International Airlines. Aeroflot began using leased Boeing 767s and 737-400s alongside the older soviet types and with a revised livery. The Russian flag replaced the Red Flag. Airline history supplied by http://airlines.afriqonline.com. The third release contains the Aeroflot Ilyushin aircraft. Contents of the packs include textures and aircraft files. Aircraft models are by Dmitry Olenin and Mike Stone and are included. These packages support MRAI fightplans for WI04.
