OH-VKA and OH-VKC are the same with the exception of a white top on VKC and OH-VKB is of later type with the Kar-Air label and the register is located on the fuselage instead of the vertical stabilizer.

Type: Douglas C-47A-30-DK. Registration: XY-ABF. Year built: 1944. Two Union of Burma C-47's collided on 22 February 1967, but both landed safely at Myitkyina (XY-ABF and XY-ACN). Burma names itself Myanmar today. But, Burma is however still named by the folk and some countries. After the renaming, Union of Burma airways became apportioned in Myanma airways (domestic) and Myanmar airways intl. The airline code of UB is used with domestic flights still today, with the international flights, the airline code was changed effective at the 22 April, 2002 from UB to 8M.
