LADU-Colombia Douglas DC-3

File Description:
FS2004. Texture sets only, requiring the base model of the GMAX MAAM-SIM R4D/DC-3 available from www.maam.org. Based on original textures by Jan Visser. Cargo Model. LADU-Colombia from Historic Airways (Breathing new live into old planes). Not much is know about LADU-Colombia, internet research listed some planes, but nothing on the airline itself. This plane (A Super DC-3) was left at the cargo ramp at Jose Maria Cordova (MDE / SKRG), Colombia (reasons unknown) and over the years is now overgrown. From the picture, it looks like the landing gear has been removed and now sits on blocks. Photo taken 27 July 2005.

Northwest Airways Douglas DC-3

File Description:
Based on repaint templates by Mark Beaumont and original textures by Jan Visser, this texture set in Northwest Airways (NWA) livery requires the base DC-3 package available from Mid Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org. This is a repaint of G-AMPY which was built in 1943 and served with NWA. She was built for the USAF and then transferred to the RAF in 1944. She served with a number of Airlines after WWII This repaint is based on the 50th Anniversary livery (1986). There is also an FS9 version of the texture available on this site. File Description: This is a repaint of the Manfred Jahn DC-3 v3 in Somali Airlines colors. Somali began operations in 1964 and the DC-3s were their first aircraft. They operated a total of 4 DC-3s in the 1960s until the early 1970s. You need the freeware C-47 v3 (DC-3) by Manfred Jahn. This aircraft was tested on FSX-SE & P3D v3.
