Passaredo 1998 AI Package

File Description:
Passaredo is still around today as a Brazilian commuter airline. However, in 1998, the airline also had a pair of A310-300s operating charters across Brazil and into the Caribbean in addition to 3 EMB-120s flying scheduled domestic routes. The A310s frequent both SBGL and SBGR so those are good places to spot them. Repaints by Jonathan Alba for the TFS A310-300 and AIA EMB-120 included. Flightplans by Raphael Rodrigues. Rio-Sul 1998 AI Package

File Description:
Rio Sul was the "shuttle" operation of VARIG, focusing on the high-density domestic routes and the domestic airports like CGH and SDU rather than GRU and GIG, though there was a GRU-based EMB-120. The airline was operating a mix of 737-500s, EMB-120s, and brand new ERJ-145s at the time in a mix of the old and new livery. As the airline was owned by VARIG, it was common to see VARIG livery aircraft operate for Rio Sul. Flightplans by Raphael Rodriguez and Chasen Richardson. VASP 1998 AI Package

File Description:
VASP was the 2nd largest airline in Brazil, but was scaling down by 1998. VASP still had a great international network stretching to ATH/KIX/ICN/LAX/YYZ/JFK/BCN/ZRH ect. A fleet of 10 MD-11s did all the long haul flying, as well as plenty of domestic flights. 3 A300s and a large 737-200/300 fleet served the domestic routes. While VARIG was based in GIG, VASP was based in GRU and the planes tend to hang out there. There was only 1 special livery, which was a named MD-11, so not much variation unlike VARIG. VASP did serve SDU and CGH with mainline equipment, however, so these plans will help populate those airports. KLM 1998 AI Package

File Description:
By 1998, the KLM/Northwest alliance was in full swing, and KLM was serving MSP, DTW, and even MEM daily with it's own metal while Northwest took over from KLM from BOS, IAD, and some other cities. KLM had a vast route network spanning the globe, serving much of Africa and the Middle East with many "tag on" routes onward from Amsterdam. By 1998, KLM was flying the MD-11, 747-200SUD(stretched upper deck), 747-200SUD Combi, 747-300 Combi, 747-400, 747-400 Combi, 767-300ER, 737-300, 737-400, and 6 mainline Fokker 100s which were short lived before going to KLM UK in late 1998 then on to CityHopper. Unfortunately, in the OAG, KLM only specified if a 747 was a combi or not(as in 747=744/742 while 74M can be a combi version of the 742,743, or 744) and did not differentiate between 737-300s and 737-400s. I did my best using what data I had to make the routes realistic, but the aircraft numbers at least are correct except for some extra 767s and 737s that you may remove if you wish. I also had issues making sure the TPE flights were all operated by "KLM Asia" 747s, so I ended up assigning 1 extra 747(I have 5, in real life there were 4) the Asia livery to ensure that you do not see a standard KLM 747 at TPE as they did not visit in real life. You may switch this to a normal 747 if you choose. Repaints by Raphael Rodrigues for the AIA Fokker 100 and FAIB 737-300, 737-400, 767-300, 747-200SUD, 747-300, and 747-400 along with flightplans by Chasen Richardson are included. Note that the 747-200SUD uses the 747-300 model. As a Bonus, the KLM Cargo 747-200SUD is also included.Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. TAM Express 1998 AI Package

File Description:
TAM Express was the regional subsidiary of TAM, operating a large fleet of Cessna Caravans connecting the major hubs with small cities across Brazil. The Caravans operated in full TAM colors and filled CGH and other busy airports while making multi-stop trips across the country of Brazil that sometimes went on for the better part of the day. Ryanair 1999 AI Package

File Description:
Ryanair is the infamous Irish low-cost airline that set out to battle Aer Lingus and British Airways on flights between Ireland and the UK. By 1999, the airline had a large fleet of 737-200s with many advertisement special liveries and had accepted the first few 737-800s of the 45 it had initially ordered. Dublin and London-Stansted were the largest hubs at the time. The airline would explode over the next 2 decades and today is one of the largest carriers in Europe.
