| Douglas DC-3 Bare Metal Aircraft 3-Tank Package |

File Description:
This standalone package based on the default DC-3 as a 3-tank ship includes the latest edition of Mark Beaumont's 'IFR' panel, and incorporates Beaumont and Bitzer's 3-tank "no ALL tanks" and automixture modifications for the stock airfiles. Supplied with one bare metal livery in a new aircraft folder to which you can add other texture sets in the usual way. Easy to install, this may appeal to those who would like a more contemporary panel for the DC-3 and who have not previously installed Beaumont and Bitzer's various modifications for the default aircraft.

File Description:
This is a repaint of one of the 2 aircraft used in the film "The High and The Mighty" (John Wayne and Robert Stack - 1954). This aircraft actually flew in this paint around Los Angeles and the bay area of southern California in November of 1953 for in-flight footage, so it's entirely fictional...but the airline was.
The original repaint was by Dave McQueen for Jens B. Kristensen's DC-4/C-54 version 2.0. I have updated it to make it compatable with the Jens' new version 2.1 (DC4_v21.zip) to use the DC-4-1009 airfile. Load your plane with 3050 gallons of fuel and balance out passengers and cargo to total 73,000 lbs. and you can duplicate flight #420 in the film! If you wish to shut down engine #1 and dump 200 gallons of fuel from the left wing and see if you can still get to San Fransico from Honolulu, that's up to you..but it is a challenge. Fictional repaint of United Airlines Friendship. These are 32bit textures and for the POSKY PBR model for P3Dv4.5. Should work in P3Dv5 although I have not tested it. They will not display properly in FS2004, FSX or P3Dv1-3 as there is no alpha channel. The PBR model gives off enough reflection for realism. These are textures only. You must have the POSKY 747-SP PBR model in order to use these textures. Follow the README file for installation.

This is a repaint of Kazunori Ito's excellent Lockheed U-2A spyplane to represent U-2A 56-6701 in 1959 when it was operated out of Edwards Test Center with the 6512th Test Group. It is currently on display as a U-2C at the Strategic Air Command Museum, Offutt AFB, Nebraska.
