This is a repaint of the Alphasim B-36 that represents a B-36B-5-CF from the 7th Bomb Wing at Carswell AFB Texas, around 1949-50 when many were given red wing outer panels and empennage to allow Arctic over-flights. In the event of a crash the red surfaces would be easily visible against the snow. This download contains texture files for both FS9 and FSX, as well as new .bump files and a new texture.shared folder for FSX.

File Description:
Amp2Xml.exe converts the aircraft amp file (electric subsystems) to a xml file.
Xml files are standard files : you can examine them with Internet Explorer (> 5.0) and find a lot of usefull tools on the web to get trees, maps etc...
As amp file is hard to read and the "hires" are hard to follow, I thought it would be a good idea to prepare some tools based on xlm files because there's a large class library for xml files on the web...

If you have problems with joystick/yoke/pedals calibration, or if you simply like to have the position of your aircraft's control surfaces (ailerons, elevator, rudder) temporarily visible when flying, the addition of a standard FS2K2 gauge in a panel might be what you want. You only need to add a few lines of text to the panel configuration file, according to my description. Furthermore, I have included a list of the frequent causes of controller problems, and how-to solve them.

A flight is included that gives you a launch site of Belcher,LA just north of Shreveport since the gliding club of Shreveport has a field nearby.

The model can be donwloaded from this site and contains Aeroflot textures. Please note this is a Tu-154M and not a Tu-154B-2. Both models are in the download pack with the models, please use the correct one to avoid confusion (the Tu-154M model).
