| A6M2 Zero V-173 "Overhaul" |

File Description:
Modified to fit The B24 Guy's Overhauled Stock Model. V-173, of the Japanese Navy's 204th Air Group was based at Rabaul and flown by Japanese 'ace' Saburo Sakai. V-173 was to be exported to the US from Gasmata in 1975, but somehow ended up in the RAAF Museum at Point Cook in Australia and restoration began in 1977. Parts of two aircraft; A6M2 C/N 3618 and A6M5 C/N 4043, were used in the restoration. V-173 is now on display at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. Enjoy!

File Description:
Modified for DBolt's Improved Stock Model. This is probably as close to what I saw, belly down, rotting in the grass, at an airfield on Oahu over forty-five years ago. I've been told that Corsairs were never painted forest green (Marine green), and yet there they both were. I don't remember the markings, other than they both bore "Marines" or "USMC," so if any Marines out there would like to fly a Marine Green aircraft, here it is.

It will not work with the default scenery. I have not used the static aircraft file whose placement may cause a conflict with this AFCAD.

Bell P-39F-1-BE "Miss Helen the Flying Jenny"- 39th FS, 35th FG, 5th Air Command, USAAC
Serial No. X (41-7170). Pilot: Boyd Wagner. New Guinea, early 1942. The plane was operative with the 39th Fighter Squadron, 35th Fighter Group, 5th Air Command, during the first half of 1942 in Australia and New Guinea. This Squadron was re-equipped with the P-38F Lightning during July 1942, in Townsville (Australia), and returned to operational active duty in late October 1942 from 14 Mile Drome (Schwimmer Field) - Port Moresby, New Guinea. Painted over The B24 Guy's P39D Overhaul Model. Enjoy!

Note the exhaust port painted to resemble the actual Model IIB and the absence of the national insignia on the fuselage. Complete Texture Folder with all texture and damage files included. By revev. This aircraft is painted to represent the aircraft that LTjg George Bush piloted while attached to the VT-51 operating off the USS San Jacinto, CG56. His airplane was shot down on September 2, 1944 over Chichi Jima in the Bonin Islands. Bush parachuted to safety. His crewmen did not survive. Enjoy!
