Women of the Empire De Havilland DH89a G-AFMH

File Description:
This texture set for use with Dave Garwood's and Co's superb Dragon Rapide. You will require the base file fs9_dh89.zip. This the fifth in my series of Dragon repaints. Built 6th February 1939 for Airworks (for use by No6 C.A.N.S), and carrying the civil registration of G-AFMH. This Rapide was impressed to the RAF during wartime, given the number Z7258, and was nominally presented to the RAF by the Silver Thimble Fund on 21st May 1941, wherafter, it carried the honourary name "Women of the Empire" and bore a silver thimble above the name. It was used on ambulance duties by No. 1680 Flight at Abbotsinch up to the end of the war. (This aircraft had chassis no.6434)

Inter City Airlines (Guernsey livery) Viscount 724 G-BDRC

File Description:
An extra V.700 was acquired from Air Inter but as V.724 was an odd member in the fleet. It went straight out on lease to Intra Airways and later served with Dan Air before comming back to Alidair to fly for Alidair Scotland. After The sister company Guernsey Airlines lost its own Viscount this aircraft was transferred and appeared in full Guernsey livery as "Sarnia II". Later it went back to DAN Air for a month before later appearing with Intercity logo on the fin as shown here. It retained it's Guernsey livery until the end of Inter City whereupon it was stored at Guernsey. Bought by Janus and flown to Exeter it was found on overhaul to be suffering from severe corrosion. It was transported by road to Manston, Kent to serve on the fire dump. Requires the FSDS Viscount 700 model by Rick Piper

Inter City Airlines (Alidair livery) Viscount 708 G-ARIR

File Description:
March 1981 saw Alidair merge the various divisions to form Inter City Airlines. Unfortunatley the airline suffered losses and in September 1983 was sold to British Air Ferries. The three surviving Viscount 700's were of no interest to BAF. The Guernsey Airlines V.724 remained in store at Guernsey until bought by Janus and flown to Exeter where it was overhauled but found to be too corroded for further service. The two Series 708's including this one had already been sold to Janus and after a seasons service sold on to MMM Aero Services in Zaire. Now registered 9Q-CAN this machine was broken up in Kinshasa, Zaire in January 1987. Requires the FSDS Viscount 700 model by Rick Piper

MANSION.COM logojet flybe BAe 146-300 (G-JEBG) - update

File Description:
My apologies. I, like the rest of the human race, am quite capable of mistakes. The cockpit windows of the real G-JEBG aircraft do not have a black border around them. By oversight I left it on. This update simply removes it by replacing it with an updated fuselage texture. If you are happy with the aircraft the way it is, then you do not have to install this update. This updates DLID 88020 (filename bae1463_bee_mansion.zip)

MANSION.COM logojet flybe BAe 146-300 (G-JEBG) - FINAL

File Description:
It was brought to my attention that the flybe.com logo on the forward portion of the fuselage was missing the ".com" and the shapes below the lettering are spheres. This update corrects that by replacing it with an updated fuselage texture. This final update also includes my previous update for the black border around the cockpit windows. It is one of the United Kingdom's largest charter airlines, operating to Europe, the United States, the Caribbean, India and Africa, serving mainly leisure destinations. It also operates scheduled flights under the Monarch Scheduled brand to many Mediterranean destinations, the Canary Islands and Cyprus. USAAF P-47D 361st FS/356th FG QI-G

File Description:
P-47D 42-76379 was assigned to Lt George L "Li'l Abner" Yoakum of the 361stFS/ 356th FG. Even though he applied the cloud that served as a background for the noseart in several aircraft in this group, he never painted any name in the cloud. The aircraft was later assigned to the HQ flight of the 474th FG, and was lost in an accident on 23 june 1945. Repaint for the Shockwave WWII Fighters P-47D by Jan Kees Blom.
