File Description:
Truth or Consequences? Yes! There is such a place in the USA. I know that FS2004 has grass runways but it was interesting to see KTCS with a paved runway and multiple grass runways as well. Get you mower humming. Don't let the sun in your eyes affect your dusk landing in the mountains. This pack should separate the men from the boys. How does the saying go? Be careful what you wish for because you might get it. Finally the equipment failures creep up and bite you if you don't pay attention. Decision, decision. What will you do? Do you know how to hand crank your landing gears. No belly flopping allowed. Luck may be on your side this day as every pilot will attest. Remember, you must make it to your assigned destination. No excuses!

File Description:
Taking off from Martha's Vineyard you head to Boston. Once you prepare to leave Boston for Manchester, NH you see the downtown silhouette in the night sky. Soon you discover its lights out while preparing to land. Can you land in zero visibility? We run into another winter storm bringing heavy snow and rain. You can expect to see another winner of a sunset and sunrise. We are making good progress but your IFR skills will be put to good use for sure. The Learjet versatility for short and long runways keeps it as a favorite up to this point.

The Learjet’s position automatically tops off your tanks prior to departing the second leg. Hope you enjoy night flying cause the sun hardly makes it past the horizon. You will witness the most surprising sunrise yet. Is the sun misplaced in FS2004? Once you leave Sondestrom airport you will enjoy your next landing. With heavy rain at departure from BIPA you have an interesting landing at BIIS in Iceland. Did you abort your landing?

Lots of nice short fields to test your mettle in Iceland and the Faroe Islands. I've got one word for HRW pilots - BISI, BISI, BISI. Landing at BISI is such a challenge no matter what runway you choose. Who can complain about the nasty weather, impossible approaches, wonderful scenery, and low visibility plus on the last leg fighting your stick to get your bird on the ground in one piece. Once you land you will be in the United Kingdom. Welcome Europe!

Hopping Round the World Adventure - Pack 18

File Description:
Project Airbus A320 starts us off with our final 2 Florida stops in Tallahassee and Jacksonville. Also another first, MelJet Boeing 747-400 takes over duties from the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport for two additional hops. The British Eurofighter takes us into the Bermuda triangle. Look out for any unusual activities! The GR4 brings us back to the United States with an interesting landing at KNKT. What an unusual layout of the runways. Wrapping things up is the British Aerospace 146 as we hop into Raleigh-Durham Intl.

File Description:
No better way to pushback from the gate in Raleigh-Durham than with the SGA MD83 using the thrust reverser. Such an authentic feel to it! Also making the rounds is the Piper J-3 Cub for a short stroll. There is no missing the noisy SGA Boeing 737-200 as you experience your first snow shower while heading to Indiana International Airport. Nice job Microsoft on the realistic snow bounderies. Look for em while in flight. Keep on your toes as things could get hairy if you have a lapse in judgement. This was a very fun pack for me and I know you will enjoy it too! Next up is Canada and back to the USA to hop around the East Coast and New England.

File Description:
My most difficult pack yet! I almost lost my bird on more than one ocassion. This HRW Adventure pack is how real-world pilots get into trouble. You might lose your plane during some critical phases of flight. Don't wreck your friend's LearJet. Things to ponder: Haven't used your de-icer yet in FS2004-you will unless you want ice buildup. Since AI pilots are bold enough to take off and land during these conditions I did the same. Everything starts out OK before it all goes bad quickly. You will run into a severe winter storm and unforgiving crosswinds and heavy winds for that matter. There is so much going on in this pack you will have little time to enjoy seeing Niagra Falls and the Statue of Liberty. Look for both once you take off. The only newbie in this pack is the iFDG 767. If this is how unforgiving winter is there is no telling what's in store once we head up next to Canada again, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Greenland and then onto Iceland. Well if you are still in one piece come join me. 207 takeoffs/landings and 32,970 miles flown so far.

File Description:
The only newbie to this pack is the iFDG Airbus A320. Heavy fog kick things off on the first leg. Traffic will only add to the delays prior to departure as in real life. Move some cargo on the 4th leg for a well-known carrier using a DC-8 (see readme). As you hop you’ll wish FS2004 had some deicing crews to take care of you before you pushback from the gate. Is that supposed to be there in real life – the airport tower located between the runway and the taxiway? That would be a first!

Hopping Round The World Adventure - Pack 32

File Description:
The only newbie to this pack is the SGA Airbus A300. Lots of clear skies make for some good viewing. We visit Ukraine, Slovakia, Poland and Germany. Don’t linger in your King Air350 at dusk since neither runway has lights. On the last leg why did ATC assign you to land your jumbo cargo plane to a runway without lights and not the one with lights? Make sure you have your auto brakes set to max and find that runway before disaster happens or request another runway other than 6 and 24 if you can.
