American Airlines Boeing 747 SP

File Description:
American Airlines 747-SP31 repaint for the Project Open Sky 747SP v4 series. American purchased two SP's from TWA. The colors and logos depicted here are accurate to the best of my ability. I've been interested in historic 747's for several years now. These liveries are familiar to me as an outgrowth of my experiences with the Historic Jetliners Group. The metal textures for this repaint were created by Yannick Charland, my colleague from the Historic Jetliners Group.
