| Martinair "Biafra" Douglas DC-6A |

File Description: On 13 December 1966 the Dutch charter company Martinair Holland (MAC), proud
owner of a fleet of four Douglas C-47, a Douglas C-54B, two Convair 640, and
four Douglas DC-7C aircraft, bought a Douglas DC-6A registered PH-MAM. The
DC-6A, which at one time belonged to KLM and could transport 11 tons payload or
97 passengers, was aquired in order to replace the smaller C-54B PH-MAE. It was
a very popular aircraft among crew and passengers alike. From the late October
1968 till the beginning of January 1970, PH-MAM flew on the Biafra airlift from
the island of Fernando Po to Uli airstrip to provide humanitarian aid, on behalf
of the Dutch Red Cross. Having returned from this mission, the aircraft was
overhauled and used by Martinair for one more year, before being sold to
Yugoslavia. The inspiration for this repaint was a coincidental meeting at
Schiphol I had many years ago with former Martinair Captain Dries van Ommen. He
was in command of PH-MAM during the Biafra airlift. We had a nice conversion,
accompanied by the impressive sight and sound of a DC-6 during take off. These
are textures only. You will need California Classic's FS2004/FSX Douglas DC-6B
CB-16 Base Pack, DC-6A CB-17 Base Pack and DC-6A CB-16 Base Pack (available at
http://www.calclassic.com/dc6b.htm). Repaint by Maarten Brouwer. For FS2004 and FSX.

Beechcraft King Air 200 for FS9
This is a series of repaints for Dee Waldron's King Air 200. I have recently revised the textures, adding details and shadowing thanks to Henry Tomkiewicz' AI paint kits. There are 11 repaints in this file. Screen shots are enclosed. I have also included a paint kit. The visual model, aircraft configuration file and air files are included.
This aircraft, and other members of the King Air family are projects Dee and I worked together on some years ago. The textures are newly refreshed. I have many hours happily flying these aircraft.
Dee's model is very sparing of resources. This aircraft can be used for AI and can be flown as well. As far as panels and sounds, I've left this to the user. The stock Microsoft King Air is an obvious starting point. Pierre Fasseux has designed three alternatives to the default panel, which represent a better choice. Leon Medado has created a very good freeware alternative to the default sounds. These are all available in the Flightsim.com library.
Instructions:
Unzip into a separate folder. Move the folder named labeled Dee Waldron King Air 200 into your FS9 folder. Use it as an AI aircraft or add panel and sound of your choice if you wish to fly it.
These files are provided on an as-is basis. I have tested them and have found them to work as intended.

This is a series of repaints for Dee Waldron's King Air A100. I have recently revised the textures, adding details and shadowing thanks to Henry Tomkiewicz' AI paint kits. There are 14 repaints in this file. Screen shots are enclosed. I have also included a paint kit. The visual model, aircraft configuration file and air files are included.

The Airbus A380 is a doubledecker, four-engined airliner manufactured by Airbus S.A.S. It first flew on April 27, 2005 from Toulouse, France. Commercial flights should begin in 2006 after 15 months of testing. During much of ist development, the aircraft was known as the Airbus A3XX. The A380 is now the largest passenger airliner, topping the Boeing 747, which was the largest for 35 years. However, the Antonov An-225 retains the record of being the world's largest commercial aircraft. The media has termed the A380 a "superjumbo", with some comparing it to Howard Hughes's Spruce Goose. The first A380 prototype was unveiled during a ceremony in Toulouse, France, on January 18, 2005. Its manufacturer's serial number is 001, and is registered as F-WWOW. The new Airbus will initially be sold in two versions: the A380-800, carrying 555 passengers in a three-class configuration or up to 800 passengers in a single-class economy configuration. Expected range for the -800 model is 8,000 nautical miles (14,800 km). The second model, the A380-800F dedicated freighter, will carry 150 tons of cargo 5,600 miles (10,400 km). Airbus made the cockpit layout, procedures and handling characteristics similar to those of other Airbus aircraft to reduce crew training costs. This is the aircraft of the extinct mexican airline "Lineas Aereas Azteca", the Bombardier Learjet 31 with the registration: XA-OLE. LÃneas Aéreas Azteca was an airline based in Mexico City, Mexico. It operated domestic scheduled services and international services to the USA. Its main base was Mexico City International Airport, with a hub at General Abelardo L. RodrÃguez International Airport, Tijuana. The airline was established on 9 May 2000 and started operations on 1 June 2000, operating domestic services with Boeing 737 aircraft. It started up after TAESA closed down and some of the staff and assets were taken over. The airline's operations were suspended by the government in March 2007 due to safety problems, and in October 2007 the Mexican government permanently revoked its air operator's certificate because the company hadn't solved those problems. On 10 October 2007, the General Civil Aeronautics Directorship (DGAC) of Mexico's Communications and Transport Secretariat permanently revoked LÃneas Aéreas Azteca's air operator's certificate, because the airline did not have a sound financial statement after the previous suspension. The fleet consisted in 6 Boeing 737-300 (XA-AAU, XA-AAV, XA-CAS, XA-TWG, XA-UCL, XA-UCP), 3 Boeing 737-700 (XA-AEP, XA-AEQ, XA-TWF), and 1 Bombardier Learjet 31 (XA-OLE). File Description:
GaugeGlow is an easy to use tool that allows you to quickly set or adjust an aircraft's 2D panel lighting and the luminous glow of your MS Flight Simulator aircraft's lumious instruments. The virtual cockpit (VC) lighting is controlled by gauge designer and aircraft modeller, and cannot be modified by GaugeGlow.
GaugeGlow gives you a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) view of a sample aircraft panel & instrument with easy to use but sophisticated tools to discover the RGB lighting values to create the right lighting effect for your panel. Before GaugeGlow, a panel designer would have to "estimate" desired RGB values for lighting settings, modify configuration files, and then run Flight Simulator to see if they got it right. With GaugeGlow, you can select colors easily with slider controls, and imediately see the effects on panel and gauge lighting just as it will appear in FS under any lighting conditions.
The licensed registered user will be able to easily open any aircraft's panel, to load existing settings, make changes, then save them. Unregistered you'll have to take the data you see and using your knowledge of the SDK, edit the aircraft's config files to make the actual change in that aircraft's night lighting.

Qantas is the flag carrier airline of Australia. The name was originally "QANTAS", an acronym for "Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services".
Nicknamed "The Flying Kangaroo", Qantas is Australia's largest airline, and the second oldest in the world. Founded in November 1920, it began flying international services in May 1935.
