| FSX Menu Mate |
|
File Description:
Menu Mate for FSX is a utility designed to give you quicker access to many (but alas not all) FSX menu items without the need to "drill down" into various menu/sub-menu layers (over 60 menu items supported). You can also assign up to 20 different menu items as button short-cuts. Features: 1) Access most FSX Menu items (Over 60 items supported), 2) Assign up to 20 button short-cuts, 3) Floats on top of FSX (Windowed mode only), 4) By default snaps to top of screen to blend with FSX title bar, 5) Can optionally be positioned anywhere on the screen.

| FSX Registry Utility |
|
File Description:
The FSX Registry Utility has been designed to help sort out FSX registry problems and avoid the need to re-install FSX, such as when manually copying a FSX installation to another drive or when the registry entry goes missing for any reason. Many FSX applications and their installers depend on knowing the path to the fsx.exe file as reported in the Windows Registry. But what if the registry entry has been corrupted or deleted when reinstalling Windows? Manually copying the FSX folder to another folder or drive will also invalidate the registry entry. This may in some cases prevent an FSX add-on from working correctly (i.e. it cannot find FSX on your system). The FSX Reg Utility was prepared especially for users with custom setups or who manually copied the FSX installation to another folder or drive and reformatted their drives, but want to retain their FSX installation with all its add-ons. Using this utility may avoid the need to reinstall FSX and allows you to restore the path in the registry quickly and easily in the case that you are not confident editing the Registry yourself.

| FSX Zip Utility |
|
File Description:
FSX Zip is a useful tool for unpacking Zip files downloaded from FS file libraries without the need for an existing 3rd-party Zip application, but the big handy feature is that it has a tree display of the Zip folder structure giving you a clear view of how the files will unpack and into which location. This folder layout display is also be useful for developers creating Zips to distribute their own work and aids in checking that no files are missing from the archive. It is "FSX aware" and can automatically detect the FSX folder location. Due to this feature it has several handy folder location presets making it quick and easy to install aircraft, scenery and other add-ons which come in Zip files that include folder path information. Many Zip files downloaded from FS libraries have a specific folder structure which the author has included and is required so all files go into their correct locations, and with this utility generally all you will need to do is: 1) Drag and Drop the Zip file onto the "Extract Zip" page, 2) Select the "Extract & Preserve Folder Structure" option, 3) Check the "Extract to Specific FSX Folder" option, 4) Select the preset folder location from the drop-down box and 5) Click the "UnZip" button. It has a small file size when zipped (around 940 KB) and can be freely distributed by freeware/commercial developers to help users install their files. The Create Zip tab also supports Zip Comments for adding any other information such as copyright notices.

January 2008
Famous aircrafts as Boeing 727, MD11 and MD83 a.m. use Panel for three engines in the real world. Never or less I could not find any FSX-aircraft equiped with a real three engine turbo panel, so I decided to make one based on an old FS98/FS2000 model. I have fixed it to be used in FSX. Hopefully you will like the result.

File Description:
The FSX Aircraft ToolBox is a utility that will appeal to developers, power-users and "aircraft aficionados" who often need (or just want!) to delve into their FSX aircraft files and apply their "virtual wrench". If you are anything like us you may feel tweaking FSX is almost as much fun as flying it! As a good companion for our aircraft configuration editor - TweakAircraft for FSX - this FSX Aircraft ToolBox focuses on a different area by making it easy to inspect, navigate and edit most of the individual files that make up your FSX aircraft. It can also be used to manage the fleet by backing up entire aircraft folders, enabling and disabling aircraft groups, tweaking many items as well as creating high-quality thumbnails used in the FSX aircraft selection dialog. We are sure you will find it a valuable tool in your endeavors as a "virtual aircraft engineer".

| FSX Hardest Approaches |
|
File Description:
This is a list of the approaches in FSX, I personally find "not easy to fly". Some of the airports are not standard on FSX and require an add-on installation. The files are available here on avsim. Enjoy and tell me how often you crashed. One recommendation: If you try Kai Tak with the PMDG 747-400, make sure your landing weight is pretty small.

| Motala Airfield - FSX |
|
File Description:
A small grass airfield just outside of Motala, Sweden.
Scenery includes:
- Custommade objects and textures.
- Static glider and vehicles.
- Custommade 3d Grass and Trees.
To get the best experience it is highly recommended to download Swedish basepack http://www.rbdesign.se/sweden-design/ and use UTX v2.
Since this airfield is made as stand-alone addon, you may use addons from ORBX as well.
Special thanks goes to Nils Gardell, Chief of glider- and information related queries, for giving us material and allowing Anders to make necessary measurements.
