| NEW Realistic HUD for the FSX F/A-18 Hornet |

File Description:
A realistic head-up display (HUD) for the FSX Acceleration F/A-18 Hornet. The HUD is an enhanced version of the original HUD for the F/A-18 by Scott Printz. The original functionality Scott built into it is preserved, and the following new features are added: 1) Precise ILS and TACAN navigation for aircraft carriers (including moving carriers) that allow carrier landings in low visibility and at night. 2) The HUD symbology is conformal to the outside world: The horizon bar stays on the horizon, velocity vector shows actual flight path as read against the outside world (if you keep your vector pointed at a certain spot on the runway, this is exactly where you will land). 3) Caged mode with ghost vector for use in heavy side wind conditions. 4) Elements repositioned to make the HUD look as close as possible to the real Hornet HUD. "TomProps" FSX varying transparency propeller texture 10-packs v1.3. These are freeware FSX prop textures that work in FS2004 as well. In both Bitmap format and DDS format, so you can use whichever format you prefer. This version contains 10 identical dual red-tipped propeller textures (red-white-red), each one varying in transparency, with #1 being the most transparent and #10 being the least transparent. This version is a stand-alone, with no previous installation of my version 1.0 required. I place no restrictions on these prop textures... anybody may use them for any reason they please. This add-on is an EXE application for Microsoft Flight Simulator and a DLL module for all other simulators. The DLL variant is activated via hotkeys or the simulator menu add-ons or plugins. Window size and layout are configurable for one or more screens. To avoid dazzling, the brightness of the entire application is customizable. Primarily it is a flight management system (FMS) with automatic control from start to landing. This also includes the observance of SID, STAR and Approaches in unmatched quality. The flight plan required for the FMS can be created manually or automatically, interactive changes and additions during the flight are possible. The basis of the flight planner is the 3D world map and the search function for airfields and navigation aids. The FMS by FSTramp relies on the autopilot of the aircraft. In case of incompatibility, the autopilot integrated in FSTramp will be used. This allows FSTramp to control almost all aircraft from airport to airport. The altitude profile of the flight plan, SID, STAR and approach is taken into account. This means that FSTramp extends the often incomplete airport procedures to and from the runway so that they can be flown completely automatically. During the fully automatic flight, the autopilot values ​​for HDG, ALT, VSPEED, SPD and MACH can be manually overridden. This is e.g. useful for being able to react to the instructions of the tower in the final approach without completely stopping the automatic flight. The rotating or north pointing 3D world map with numeric display of the terrain elevation under the mouse arrow is another special feature. It does not need an internet but is synthesized from included height profiles of the globe. The Data of continents, mountains and rivers are included in the setup. Airspaces, Airways, Waypoints and SID, STAR and Approaches are also included in the setup, but can be updated by installing additional AIRAC cycles. Airfields and navigation stations are taken from the simulator. NVIDIA: If the frame rate of the simulator drops sharply about 20 seconds after FSTramp's visibility, the power management of the GPU slows down prematurely. In the NVIDIA Control Panel, change the 'Manage 3D settings - Power management mode' option to 'Adaptive'.

The FSTrampFree addon is a decoupling from the commercial product FSTramp. It shows a 3D world map and the real time moving AI or online aircraft. Due to the integration in the simulator, the map can also be used very well with just one display. Via the context menu of the world map, the aircraft can be moved to any runways or gates. With pressed Ctrl key even to every point on the ground or on the water. During the flight, jumps to other points in the air or on the ground are possible. The AIRAC data can be updated via an additional purchase from Navigraph.

File Description:
(PAFA - PABR) (486 NM) (Heavy Cargo Run)____Situation Orientation (Fictional) : Twice a year, (GREEN SOLUTIONS) a joint US-UN funded scientific research firm, based in Anchorage Alaska, charters a freighter jet to make a cargo run to (Barrow/Alaska (PABR)) located near the beaufort sea / Arctic ocean, where one of the firm's major research facilities is located. For the September run, it has been arranged that the flight will make a stop over at Fairbanks International Airport- Alaska (PAFA) to pick up additional cargo that a supplier working with the firm shipped to Fairbanks by train. As this run is a pre-winter run, the cargo is heavy and the cargo company have allocated a large freighter ship to handle the heavy cargo load. The aircraft arrived into Anchorage inbound from South America early this morning and departed Anchorage at 11:00 am. It arrived PAFA on time and is loading the additional cargo at a designated hanger. The flight was shedualedto depart to Barrow at 2:30 pm butfreighter paperwork and administrative complexities have caused a two and a half hour delay. Everyone, including you,is frustrated and anxious to get moving. Finaly, ground crews inform you that you will be ready to go in 10 ____Note : Although no significant malfunctions where logged during the first leg of the flight, the aircraft's maintenence logs indicate that during its Panama City departure,the crew logged an abnormalylow climb attitude after take off. However, due to compressed schedual timetables, maintenance operations in Anchorage decided that maintenance would be done after it returned from its charter flight and have given it a green light. As first officer, the captain has instructed you to watch that closley as he has given you control of this leg.

FS2004/FSX Northwest Airlines Boeing 767-300. Fictional Northwest Airlines liveries for the SSP2010 Boeing 767-300 model with PW engines. Northwest never added the 767 to their fleet. The first livery is the "Bowling Shoe Livery" without winglets and the second is the last Northwest livery before the Delta merger with winglets. Custom PAX entrance texture. Textures only.
