| Orlando Intl. Airport |
|
File Description:
Orlando Intl. Airport for FSX. Several improvements were made, including: the addition of more default FSX jetways to now include all gates as at the real life airport; assigning all gates to specific airlines using Afcad2; the vehicle paths were rebuilt, which prevents airport vehicles from accessing the taxiways, which can result in traffic delays; and settings were edited so that as long as the scenery complexity slider in FSX is set at Normal or higher, all jetways will display at this airport.

| Tonopah - KTPH |
|
File Description:
This file contains several BGL's which enhance the default FSX Tonopah, Nevada airport (KTPH).
Additional parking, scenery objects, and roads are added to the bland stock airport.
The "mesa" created by the stock airport backgound flatten is blended into the
surrounding terrain using "sloped flattens".
This scenery is not intended to re-create a perfect match to the real world but
to enhance the visual experience of flying into and out of the airport.
The files were tested with FSX-Acceleration\SP2 on WinXP Pro, DX9.
I used 10M mesh from the "FSX Usa 10 M terrains Project" when blending
the altitude data but the files should provide good results with the default FSX terrain.

| JY43 Hill Top Airport NJ |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
I was flying around the FSX world looking for a real world sloping airstrip just begging to be modeled with a touchdown tire squealing, smoking rubber - that kind of hardened surface sloping runway after I finally figured out how to persuade the FSX SDK to compile one. The Airfield Candidate shall have high density LiDAR elevation and high resolution Orthoimagery data available for public download. I was flying a Beechcraft Baron 58 over Wanaque Reservoir in Northeast NJ of all places when I happened upon a photo scenery runway on a sloping hill top without the usual FSX flattened airport plateau effect and FSX textured runway. They have missed this one ! Hello JY43. - Wally-Bob

| Central Massachusetts Airports |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This package contains 25 airports in central Massachusetts. These airports are intended to be used with FSX and the free addon - TileProxy. TileProxy provides real-time photorealistic satellite imagery in place of the stock auto generated FSX scenery or any other scenery package.
The package includes sixteen (16) stock FSX airports which have been modified (re-located runways, buildings, taxiways, etc.) to more accurately re-position them with the real-world scenery. In addition, there are two (2) unlisted airports which are not available in FSX. These airports are existing real private airports. There are also seven (7) "abandoned" airports included (i.e. airports that no longer exist). These airports were active in the 1920s-1970s.
