QuickGOTO for FSX

File Description: Re-upload. Keeps a database of the most frequently used departure locations (gates, parkings or runways), so it will be no longer necessary to search for the airport through Flight Simulator Airport/Facilities directory and to move the aircraft to the correct departure point each time: just select the desired location from QuickGOTO and the airplane will be instantly moved there. It is recommended to disable FSX's "Show opening screen" (Options->Settings->General) in order to get the most from this add-on.

FSX Model Compiler

File Description:
This is a little GUI a wrote for compiling .X files into MDL files.

For those of the community who have made use of Prepar3D's v2.2 SDK, there are compatibility issues with the MDL's created for Prepar3D and FSX. The Prepar3D v1.4 SDK XtoMDL compiler correctly writes the MDL files which work in FSX.

To use this program, you need to point the GUI to the location of the v1.4 SDK XtoMDL.EXE file and your .X file for your model. You can select the switches which you would normally enter on the command line, from the GUI and it will compile the .MDL with them.

AutoStar for FSX

File Description:
AutoStar is a program that allows new features to be added to the night sky. It adds the brighter planets in the correct position for any date. Optionally it can add comets, images or user objects such as a lunar eclipse or Messier objects. The program can import the SAO star catalogue, thus allowing the number of background stars to be significantly increased.

FSX World Capitals

File Description:
The countries, states and provinces in FSX all have capitals, usually with well-equipped airports. World Capitals flights lead you to all these capitals over the Eastern and the Western Hemisphere in 297 IFR flights over a distance of 345,755 nM. The flightplans are designed with default FSX scenery and the default Douglas DC-3 (flights 1000nM). However, feel free to use faster or more advanced planes if you like!
