Reducing FSX Traffic speed - an Illustrated tutorial
One of the more "interesting" enhancements which Microsoft introduced in FSX is the vehicle traffic which can be seen on the highways around larger cities and airports. However many simmers feel the speed at which these vehicles travel is considerably too fast and therefore quite unrealistic. One simmer has even commented that he cannot overtake many vehicles when flying low and slow in the default Cessna.
It is quite easy to edit the speeds of such vehicles and the process has been documented in at least one forum post. However I thought it might be useful - especially for those not accustomed to working with command line interfaces - to have a tutorial available which illustrates each step.

The Manual/Checklist describes all neccessary settings and operations for the De Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter starting with a "dark and cold" panel/engine. From Pre Start - Startup - Before Taxi - Taxi - Before Takeoff - Takeoff - Climb Out - Cruise - Descent - Approach - Landing - Taxi To Ramp - Shutdown - Securing Aircraft - to "cold". Based on the "De Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter" aircraft and panel by Barry Blaisdell, Jean-Pierre Brisard, Bob May, Kevin Pardy. FS2002+FS2004 versions had more than 8'000 downloads.

This is a repaint on the TDS (Tenkuu Developers Studio) Boeing 727-200 model, in Delta's 1972 Widget livery, registration N494DA. Texture only. The textures are saved in 32 bit format for quality graphics. Includes custom Delta Cabin and Ground Support Equipment and personnel, photo real taxi & landing light lenses, photo real refueling station under the wing and custom new wing textures. Model developed by Tenkuu Developers Studio, features high resolution textures, dynamic flexing wings, nose gear steering, rudder lock, ground spoilers, low speed aileron locks at high speed, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, trim animation, opening passenger doors, rolling wheels, animated thrust reverse with reverser block doors, detailed textures, full night lighting, ground service vehicles and more. Model design by Hiroshi Igami. Flight dynamics design by Nate Rosenstrauch, Joe DeGregorio and Chesley Hann. Paint kit and master textures by Carlos Eduardo Salas. This is a repaint of the 727-284 in Olympic Airways colors. The freeware 727-200 by Tenkuu Developers Studio (TDS) is needed for this repaint. The first B-727-284s started to arrive in early 1967 and were assigned to fly the European routes. Also in 1967 Olympic Airways reached a milestone; passenger boardings exceed the million-mark for the first time with a figure of 1,133,009. SX-CBB was purchased new from Boeing in 1969 and stayed with Olympic till 2003. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX, P3D v1-3, & FS2004.

This is a repaint of the 707-312B in Malaysia Singapore Airlines (MSA) colors. The payware Captain Sim 707-300 is needed for this repaint. The first MSA 707 was introduced in 1967 and was their international route workhorse until the airline's demise in 1972. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

This is a repaint of the 747-284 in Olympic Airways colors. The payware 747-200 by Commercial level Simulations - CLS is needed for this repaint. Olympic's first B-747-284B is delivered on June 21 1973. It was christened 'Olympic Zeus' and was used on the New York route beginning in July 1973. This repaint, SX-OAB, was the second B-747-284B to be delivered. Christened the 'Olympic Eagle', it arrived on December 7 1973. Olympic had 5 747-200s in their fleet over the years. Textures are HD 32bit BMP. Smaller DXT 5 BMP textures are also included. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX& P3D v1-3.
