NTGK Kaukura, French Polynesia

File Description:
Googly scenery for NTGK Kaukura, a small airport on Motu Panao island of Kaukura atoll, part of the Tuamotu group in French Polynesia. The airport, opened in 1994, is served just a couple of times per week by ATR turboprop aircraft of Air Tahiti. Flight Simulator 2004 has only provided a runway at this airport and this scenery seeks to redress the situation so that you and your "AI" traffic can use the airport. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high quality satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without.

Gestair Cargo (Ex Cygnus Air) AI-Package

File Description:
Flightplan and repaint-package of the AI Aardvark B757-200F In Gestair Cargo colors (Ex Cygnus Air). Gestair Cargo was the cargo branch of Gestair Regional Lineas Aereas. Gestair Cargo started its operations in 1998 with a full cargo operation under the subsidiary Cygnus Air. Since May 2007 it has rebranded to carry out the positioning of the Gestair group. Gestair Cargo fleet consists of 2 B757-200F and a single DC8-73CF which will be replaced by a converted Boeing 757 in the near future. This pack contains a flightplan for all three aircraft, made by Josef Petric and a paint for the AI Aardvark Boeing 757-200 freighter model in the new Gestair Cargo color. Pan American Boeing 747 SP-21

File Description:
Two Pan American 747 SP-21 repaints for the Project Open Sky 747SP v4 series. These repaints depict the historical status of one airframe, N533PA. The liveries include the paint scheme in use at the time the aircraft was first delivered, and the final livery from the late 1980's. This particualr airframe participated in Pan American's 50th anniversary flight, a circumnavigation of the world via the north and south poles, October 28-30 1977, and carries the commemorative emblem created to mark the occasion. The colors and logos depicted here are accurate to the best of my ability. I've been interested in historic 747's for several years now. These liveries are familiar to me as an outgrowth of my experiences with the Historic Jetliners Group. The graphics for the 1980's livery were furnished by my friend and colleague from HJG, Mark Cranston. I've included models and the necessary text files to incorporate these repaints into your collection.

Boeing 777-200 Wingviews

File Description:
Realistic wingviews for all three engine types for the new Project Open Sky 777-200. Each set of views adjusted for engine-type (RR Trent series, GE90 series and P&W4000 series). Choice of 3 different views of the left engine & option of a "Gear Cam" view that shows the left main landing gear. Enable/disable these different views using switches & a quick sim reload (remember to save your flight first). Full instrucctions included. Please be aware that these views were set on a 1680 X 1050 monitor. Some adjustments to the wingview figures might have to be made depending on your monitor-size. Id like to take this chance to thank the talented group of people at Posky for this great new 777-200. Also thanks to all the repainters, sound-creators & panel gurus out there who bring it all together and make this hobby so enjoyable. Enjoy the passenger wingviews on this big Boeing twin :-)

Christchurch, UK circa 1944

File Description:
Christchurch began its existance in 1926 when a field known as Burrys field near Mudeford, Christchurch UK was used for pleasure flights.In 1935 airfield became known as Bournemouth Airport. Christchurch Airfield was therefore the original Bournemouth Airport. In the early March of 1944, the USAAF arrived as the 509th, 510th and 511th Fighter Squadrons of the 405th Fighter Group. The squadrons flew P47 aircraft on raids over occupied France. All the 405th units left for airfields in occupied France shortly after D-Day. Production of Mosquitos, Horsa Gliders and the Oxford was undertaken here during war time and post war the Airspeed Ambassador and the DH Sea Vixen. Hurn is now "Bournemouth Airport". Christchurch was closed in 1964 and after some years the site developed for housing. Regretably there is no Memorial to the airmen who flew from here or any reminder of their sacrifice. Many people I have met who live on what was the airfield have no idea that it ever existed!

YPTN RAAF Tindal, Australia

File Description:
Ants Aussie Airports Vol 5 : RAAF Tindal is a military base about 290kms south east of Darwin near the town of Katherine in Australia's Northern Territory. Tindal is a major front-line operational air base and home to No. 75 Squadron Air Combat Group (F/A-18). There is also a civilian apron in the north west corner of the airfield. This scenery contains photoreal ground textures and these are designed to blend in with the payware FTX textures (available from www.fullterrain.com). It is therefore recommended that you have the FTX textures installed if you wish to see this airfield at its best. I have tried to make this airfield as accurate as possible although as Tindal is a military base there aren't a lot of photos available so a lot of the hangars are "educated guesses". Almost all of the models have been custom made with the use of library objects kept to the minimum.

Continental Airlines Boeing 727-024C ( circa 1967 )

FS2004 Boeing 727-024C Continental Airlines circa 1967 Vistaliners's 727-024C in Continentals 1967 Golden Jet Delivery Livery with medium weathering effects.This is Continentals #1 of only 5 727-100s to every wear Continentals Golden jet livery,and they only wore this livery for a very short period of time before getting the black meatball livery applied to them.Making this paint an even more rare collectible livery. Under a new agreement,HJG-Historic Jetliners Group is now hosting the Vistaliners 727s and as of this posting,the 727-100 base packs have been finished.HJG has produced aircraft specific very authentic FDE's for these aircraft and all are now available on the HJG website. So I suggest everyone go to HJG and grab these base packs and update their existing 727-100s with these new updates.These new FDE's are top notch and the panel is also adapted for use with the -100 as well. Ocean Air Fokker MK28 (F100) / PR-OAE

File Description:
Ocean Air is, currently, operating a fleet of eight Fokker MK28 in their flights. The carrier fleet was, once, far more bigger, with Boeing 757 and 767 and other smaller planes around. But, after the Sinergy Group (wich also operates the Avianca Colombia) decided to focus over the brazillian operations, they decided that a total clean-up over the fleet and objectives were needed. Since then, Ocean Air almost standardized the fleet with the MK28 - that were, also, not in the same number as before. Hand-made textures carefully compared to photographic sources, white windows rings, slight dirty at the APU exit and intake, tailnumber along the fuselage and under/over the wings and more features are included in these Repaint-G DXT3 quality textures, with proper alpha channel on the lightmap for correct illumination at night. TEXTURES ONLY for the AI-Aardvark (AIA) Fokker 100 model. Conventional readme and "Read-G" included for instructions.

Kaipara Flats (NZKF)

File Description:
This download contains fully customised Gmax buildings and objects (with glass reflections, no night textures), phototrees, updated facility information and placed library objects. Kaipara Flats (ICAO: NZKF) is a small airstrip west of Warkworth, a township north of Auckland in New Zealand. It is a grass strip with an offset thresholds giving a useable length of 839m, width of 30m and a group rating of 6. The runway is aligned 07/25. It isn’t lit and AvGas 100 fuel is available. I decided to model it after doing a roadtrip north of Auckland and taking lots of reference photos of the smaller airfields suitable for the size of aircraft I fly in real life. I am also planning to model SpringHill and Parakai aerodromes in the near future The airstrip makes a perfect stopping point for training flights around the Auckland region with Ardmore and Northshore aerodromes to the south, Springhill to the north, and Parakai to the west

Benina International Airport HLLB 2010 V.1 FS2004/FSX-sp2

File Description:
Benina International Scenery. located in the town of Benina, 19 km east of Benghazi, from which it takes its name. The airport is operated by the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Bureau of Libya and is the second largest in the country after Tripoli International Airport. Benina International is also the secondary hub of both Buraq Air and flag carrier, Libyan Airlines. During World War II, the airport was used by the United States Army Air Force Ninth Air Force during the Eastern Desert Campaign. Known as Soluch Airfield, it was used by the 376th Bombardment Group, which flew B-24 Liberator heavy bombers from the airfield between 22 February & 6 April 1943. Once the combat units moved west, it was used as a logistics hub by Air Transport Command. It functioned as a stopover en-route to Payne Field near Cairo or to Mellaha Field near Tripoli on the North African Cairo-Dakar transport route for cargo, transiting aircraft and personnel.
