Wings Of Power B-17's of the 385th BG

File Description:
FS2004 texture sets only of the excellent Wings Of Power B-17. A set of 2 historic aircraft from the 385th Bomb Group based in Great Ashfield, UK with the names "Ole Doodle Bug" and "Lil’ Audrey". These paints were made specifically to be used as AI traffic for Cees Donkers airfield of the 385th. You must own the "Wings Of Power Heavy Bombers and Jets" add on by Shockwave for FS2004 to use these files. Repaints by Chuck Lawsen

USAAF P-47D 361st FS/356th FG QI-G

File Description:
P-47D 42-76379 was assigned to Lt George L "Li'l Abner" Yoakum of the 361stFS/ 356th FG. Even though he applied the cloud that served as a background for the noseart in several aircraft in this group, he never painted any name in the cloud. The aircraft was later assigned to the HQ flight of the 474th FG, and was lost in an accident on 23 june 1945. Repaint for the Shockwave WWII Fighters P-47D by Jan Kees Blom.

USAF P-51D 479th FG/434th FS L2-V "Pin up girl"

File Description:
P-51D 44-14651 L2-V “Pin Up Girl” was first flown by Lt. Berkeley E. Hollister, 434th Fighter Squadron, 479th Fighter Group, with only the letters on the nose. It was later reassigned to Lt. John C. Donnell Jr., who applied the image to the plane. Unfortunately, he was killed in action on 14th february 1945. I have painted this aircraft earlier, but this time it is based on the excellent paintkit by John Terrell. Shockwave P-51 required!

Braniff International Boeing 747-227B repaint

File Description:
Braniff International 747-227B repaint for the Project Open Sky 747 v4 series. The colors and logos depicted here are accurate to the best of my ability. I've been interested in historic 747's for several years now as an outgrowth of my experiences with the Historic Jetliners Group. The natural metal textures I used on the engines is the work of my HJG associate Yannick Charland. I've included models and the necessary text files to incorporate these repaints into your collection.

Mountain View dirt strip in Ontario Canada

File Description:
For a start this is not Mountain View CPZ3, which is in Ontario but around 120 miles south, near Trenton and Lake Ontario. This is a dirt strip between Pettawawa and Deep River, close to the Ottawa River, and the only reason I have called it Mountain View is that that's the name of a group of houses very close by. So a dirt strip, surprisingly long at what timed out at around 3,500 feet, and with one hanger at the eastern end.

RAF Spilsby Airfield

File Description:
RAF Spilsby, situated 3 miles E of Spilsby, 8 miles west of Skegness, in Lincolnshire, was a 5 Group Bomber Command station, opening in September 1943. Spilsby was home to 207 and 44 Squadron, flying Lancasters. The airfield closed in November 1946, breifly reopening in the 1950's. Today the site is used for Agriculture. No: 207 Squadron Oct 1943 to July 1945 No:44 Squadron Sep 44 to July 1945 No 2 Armament Practice School. July 1945 to Nov 1946

RAF Harrowbeer

File Description:
The former RAF Harrowbeer Airfield is situated in the Parish of Buckland Monachorum, Devon. It is approximately nine miles NNE of the city of Plymouth and approximately six miles South of Tavistock, and also sits within the boundary of Dartmoor National Park. Although sited near the Village of Yelverton, it was called 'Harrowbeer' in order to distinguish it from RNAS Yeovilton. The Airfield was under the control of '10 Group' Flying Spitfires, Typhoons, Bristol Blenheims, Lysanders and Boulton Paul Defiants in its time.

Fokker 50 Panel Project NMS Files

File Description:
Flight plans for the Fokker 50 Panel Project NMS by Espen Øijordsbakken. Routes based on flight plans by Scandinavian Virtual Airlines for use by SVA members and enthusiasts alike. This group of flight plans departs from Copenhagen - Kastrup (EKCH/CPH), making intermediate stops, until reaching Honningsvag (ENHV/HVG), which is the northernmost airport on continental Europe. AirBridgeCargo - December 07

File Description:
Winter flightplans for AirBridgeCargo part of the Volga-Dnepr Group taken directly from AirBridge Cargo's website. Valid for the month of December '07 as that's the most up to date published schedule. I know it's not the best solution but the last release for Air Bridge Cargo was in January '07 so an update was badly needed. Includes FPs for their new 744ERF, which unfortunately the repaint is currently not available on Avsim, so I do hope someone will paint one up soon.
