The Great Framerate Reliever Guide

File Description:
The "Great Framerate Reliever Guide" is a lofty title for a FS9/FSX guide I wrote to explain how to make the most of your flight simulation experience in FS9 and FSX using just a few minor utilities, and spending less than $50 USD. Thanks to the hard work of many individuals, setups like this are entirely practical and won’t have you sitting in the “FS doghouse” with your significant other. If you want to retrieve some of those lost framerates in either FS9 or FSX, this is a must-read. Also included in this package is a modified FS9.cfg file for FS9 users, which has allowed FS9 users to squeeze even more framerates out of your FS setup. Don't be envious of your neighbors Flight Sim setup. I've been using this setup for years now, and it's enabled me to thoroughly enjoy my simulation experience, even as budgets waned.

File Description: This package contains TWO Gunsan AB 8th Fighter Wing F-16C HAVEGLASS V repaint textures for the Aerosoft F-16! The first jet is 89-2058 from the 36th FS, and the second is 90-0745 from the 80th FS. The latest versions of HAVEGLASS F-16s (as of 2023) now have black markings/decals on the jet instead of the grey markings on earlier versions. Many thanks to the people who posted pictures of the latest HAVEGLASS Wolfpack jets online! Since the HAVEGLASS F-16s primary mission is "Wild Weasel" SEAD/DEAD, I included instructions below to install both textures into the "Aerosoft F-16C 120-9-88-370-184" folder. Also, I made sure these textures will work with ALL the other Aerosoft F-16 models (with or without the drag chute) so feel free to add these textures to your favorite ones. YGBSM!

Wings of Power P-47D-22-RE "Margie" #C2-Z, 42-75178, flown by Lt Gerald Grace, 396th FS, 368th FG, 9th AF, Chilbolton, England, 1944.Gerald Grace flew 92 combat missions and shot down one Fw190.You can hear his account of how he got his Fw190 if you visit www.368thfightergroup.com which has a recording of an Armed Forces Radio interview with Lt Grace conducted during the war.

Al Pelletier's Round Robins - Japan

File Description:
This one was written back in 2003, for Computer Pilot Magazine. Many maps and approach plates. Another cargo run suitable for a B747, B727, Airbus etc.. Japan Airline (JAL) cargo run to USAF Kadena Air base in Okinawa City. It was flown with Microsoft FS2000\FS2002\FS2004\FS-X and can be flown with any Flight Sim that has the required Airports and Navaids included in its own database.

North American P-51D Mustang, 374FS, 361FG, Little Walden 'Duchess of Manhattan'

File Description:
This is a repaint for the Shockwave World War II Fighters P-51D Mustang, depicting P-51D 44-13708 "Duchess of Manhattan' as flown by Capt. Henry B. Lederer of the 374 FS/361FG, 'the Yellow Jackets', based in Little Walden, UK. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on blanks by Milan Žejdlík. This repaint should work in both FS9 and FSX, as do all my repaints.

EGSG Stapleford

File Description:
This package adds all the hangers and replaces grass with asphalt where appropriate. In real life runway 04R has an asphalt insert for part of its length and as FS does not allow this I have taken the liberty of making the whole runway Asphalt instead of the default all grass. It also provides parking spots and ATC interaction along with some AI traffic to liven things up a bit.
