File Description:
P-47D 42-76379 was assigned to Lt George L "Li'l Abner" Yoakum of the 361stFS/ 356th FG. Even though he applied the cloud that served as a background for the noseart in several aircraft in this group, he never painted any name in the cloud. The aircraft was later assigned to the HQ flight of the 474th FG, and was lost in an accident on 23 june 1945. Repaint for the Shockwave WWII Fighters P-47D by Jan Kees Blom.

This is a repaint of Aerosoft F-16 in the livery of 526th FS, 86th FW, USAF in Europe, at Ramstein AFB Germany. The aircraft depicted was flown by Capt. Robert Wright when he shot down 3 Serbian Soko G-4 Super Galebs in one mission during Operation Deny Flight in 1994. Textures only. Aerosoft F-16 Fighting Falcon X payware required. File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22 42-26086 of the 342nd CG, 33rd FS, Iceland, June 1944. It made a forced landing at Patterson field on 11/6/1944 with Lt Clifford Martin piuloting. It was destroyed in a crash near Keflavik on 20/5/1945. Its pilot, Eugene S. Donell was killed in the crash. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney

P47D 368th FG/ 395th FS A7-G "Wild Bette"

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Shockwave Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22-RA 42-26130 "Wild Bette", an aircraft of the 395th FS/368th FG, flown by Lt Richard Kik. He named his aircraft on the left hand side "Wild Bette", after his girlfriend. The name on the right hand side came from his crew chief, Sgt Mohn, since Kik often attacked targets relentlessly with disregard to anti-aircraft fire. In one 395th FS narrative is written "Lt Kik refuses to come back with any ammo".
