On 26 August 1768, Captain James Cook sailed from Plymouth, England for a three-year voyage around the world. On 26 August 1938, his ficticious great-great-grandson Capt. James Cook and his crew took off from Plymouth in his Imperial Airways' Short S30 LR "Cabot" flying boat to follow this example in 39 flights. Download and install Jens B. All flights are IFR, short-distance low-altitude flights (< 13,000 ft) are made with the default Douglas DC-3, long-distance high-altitude flights (> 19,000 ft) are made with the Lockheed L-1649 Starliner, but feel free to follow your own preference.(re-upload)

File Description:
On 27th of December, 1831 Charles Robert Darwin sailed from Devonport, England for a five-year voyage around the world on HMS Beagle and returned almost five years later on 2nd of October 1836. On 27th of December 1941 our journey begins in Devonport, near Plymouth in the Imperial Airways' Short S30 LR "Cabot" flying boat to follow this example. Since Charles Darwin also made many in-land journeys on the South-american and Australian continents, a flying boat would not be practical; instead we use the FSX default DC-3 for our continental flights.
