Alphasim's Vigilante RVAH-11 with Camo Markings

Nick's AI Jet Exhaust With Control Gauge

File Description:
Hanging around the airport watching the A-I traffic and chasing A-I jet aircraft just got a little more interesting. Enjoy watching your entire A-I jet fleet as they display engine heat shimmer effects -after- push-back from the terminal and during taxi to the active runway. All the A-I traffic take off displaying a lite, expanding, frame-rate friendly and nicely scaled high throttle heat/exhaust trail FX which remain with the A-I aircraft during its entire flight. To top off the show, the A-I aircraft that are throttled down and landing display no exhaust from the engines! This package also comes with a gauge that allows pilot throttle control of the taxi heat shimmer/full-throttle exhaust FX for the jet aircraft being flown in the sim by the user. This package does NOT interfere with the logo, taxi or wing lights of any aircraft and comes with 5 all new exhaust effects files which can be applied to just about any size private, commercial or military jet. It requires editing/adding lines in the aircraft.cfg and panel.cfg files. The README files include very complete and comprehensive instructions including a quick and easy copy/paste file for all the Microsoft jet aircraft and tutorial on making custom gauges from the one provided. A semi-realistic AFCAD for the default airport with tons of gates (+ Cargo and General Aviation) provided for the full level of traffic serving this airport. - Gates are unassigned to airlines, of which you may alter at your own discretion. (You MAY NOT upload it to any site without my permission). All taxiways have lighting to make it easier to find your way around at night. Please note, the new runway is NOT included in this AFCAD. For FS2004 use only. This AFCAD works best with the 'Airport Environment Upgrade v7' scenery which is available here at AVSIM. Special thanks to Lee Brompton for activating the crosswind runways.

Boeing 747-400 with GE Series Engines

File Description:
Boeing 747-400 with GE Series engines for use with PMDG 747-400X. This is a fix and update repaint of the Qantas VH-OEB (aka Phillip Island) with the "Come Play" livery (uploaded on 21 June 2010), using Paint.NET v3.5.4. This fix excludes mips to reduce the bluries and flips the Australian flag correctly on the right fuselage. The original Qantas livery was painted and uploaded to AVSIM by Jathedar Singh on 25 Oct 2008, hence, only the left and right fuselage texture files were edited to include the aircraft's latest livery where Qantas supports Australia's World Cup bid - www.australia2018-2022.com.au. Semi-transparent soccer balls on fuselage are not included.

Tutorial: working with Textured Polygons in SBuilder

File Description:
The third Tutorial using Sbuilder. This one looks at using Textured Polygons to create airport ground features. It uses the project file created in the first tutorial as the basis and replaces the land class runways and airfield with ones made using textured polys. I also cover flattens and a bit about creating slopes. All feedback and suggestions much appreciated. Support available at www.scruffyduck.plus.com
