Chance-Vought F-8 Crusader (Part 3). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for this classic aircraft of modern military history.
This is an original 8-LOD model, with many animations and features thanks to a growing confidence in XML-coding and making FSDS work for me instead of the other way around.
Nicknamed "The Last Gunfighter", this aircraft was the last production aircraft for the US Navy and Marine Corps which used guns as primary armament, and was in service at the twilight of this age, as well as the dawn of the missile age. Like all combat-experienced aircraft, it had a relatively short life during its operational use (only about twenty years or so as a fighter), but was used a little longer as a recce aircraft; and beyond that in export service to France and the Philippines. The Crusader was used extensively in combat operations in Vietnam, played a crucial role in the Cuban Missile Crisis, and gave the newer F-4 Phantoms a fair run for their money in terms of air combat capability during this time. It is interesting to note that the 'elderly' F-8 Crusader had a better kill overall ratio in air combat in Vietnam than its F-4 successor.
This is part three of this model series, covering the F-8J, F-8K, F-8L, RF-8A, and RF-8G base models; with a total of 25 model options and 56 individual unit paints. I am fairly confident that if any operational squadron of the USN and USMC used this aircraft from the late 50s to the early 80s, it is covered in this project at some time frame. This is part one of this model series, covering the F-8A, F-8B, and F-8C base models; with a total of 16 model options and a staggering 65 individual squadron paints. I am fairly confident that if any operational squadron of the USN and USMC used this aircraft from the late 50s to the late 60s, it is covered here at some time frame. Subsequent releases will include the later USN/USMC models, as well as the French and Philippine exports. Extensive credits and instructions are in the documentation. The VA Administrator v5.2 is out now and ready to make your job at running the VA a little easier. The software is like a smaller version of Myob for Virtual Airlines. Its all software based very easy to use. No need for website with ASP or PHP, this baby does it all on your local machine, after you have finished you just upload the pages to your site. So free hosting sites are great for this software, it will look like a database driven website but not... If PHP or ASP is hard for you to work out then this is for you. It does so much in a small amount of time. Like the older version it has its virtual bank so you can take out loans for new equipment. But this time you will love the new personal files, keep data on your virtual pilots from meetings to bad raps they may get. Store it all on the personal files with Photo ID if you get your pilots to send you a passport photo. Its only going to get better, this new version had some fixes to the virtual bank and some small nip and tucks here and there.
The GOOD NEWS ITS FREEWARE ! everyone can have a copy of this software. You can issue one copy for each hub and have each hub run itself and then report back at the end of month the the CEO in a meeting. Hey its freeware so don't just think about it do it. Its software to manage virtual airlines, and its FREE. This software was payware but now its free !

| Pacific Western AI Aardvark Boeing 737-200 |

Pacific Western, repaint for the AI_Aardvark 737-200. By RotorRick Deckard. Freeware, textures only, requires AI_Aardvark 737-200 basepack.
Pacific Western was a Canadian airline based in the western provinces, back when I was growing up, and I saw their planes all the time. They merged into CP Air, which turned into Canadian Airlines when they also took Wardair. And Canadian Airlines exists no longer either, having been absorbed by Air Canada, many of their staff were let go, and less desirable planes sold off to discount airlines.
Pacific Western, in parnership with Boeing, pionered a modification to the 737-200 that enabled it to land on gravel runways! Yes, no joke, with several of the destination runways up near the arctic circle, these runways wouldn't survive the ground temperature changes if they were more common paved or concrete runways. Anyway, I don't know many details, but I do know it involved a large beaver board attached to the rear of the nosegear wheels (which looks very much like that on the Antarctic mission C-130's the US uses to support missions down under), and vortex generators to blow in front of the engines on landing. This is all done to keep the low slung engines from ingesting any FOD. Since that time, such strips are more commonly visited by the Boeing 727, which has it's engines better protected and is generally more suited to such special purposes.

This airline has operated the 707, Lockheed C-130 Hercules (actually L-100 variant), 767-200 and many other planes, but they were always primarily a 737-200 based airline.

Welcome to Le Castellet Airfield -
This airfield is situated few Nm east of Marseille Provence - LFML, in the south of France. On the 1,000 hectares of plateau he acquired between Marseille and Toulon, Paul Ricard, forever motivated by innovation and development, constructed in 1962 the largest
private airfield in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
The landing strip at Le Castellet covered a distance of 1,000 metres and allowed for VFR (Visual Flight Rules) operation. Situated on a plateau at the time free of all economic development, it was above all a private airfield. In 1970, the construction
of the Paul Ricard Circuit nearby created an economic dynamic for the first time on Le Castellet plateau. In 1972, Paul Ricard invested in improvements to the runway, lengthening it from 1,000 to 1,750 metres, thus rendering it capable of
receiving business and private airplanes of up to 38 tonnes.
Over twenty years, Le Castellet Airport saw intense periods of activity due to business and private aviation, notably with the arrival of the first F1 French Grand Prix on the Paul Ricard Circuit in 1971, and more recently, with the creation of the Entreprise Zone at Signes, situated only a few kilometres from the airfield. Stop by for an amazing visit at the medieval village as well, situatued on top of a hill.
Nevertheless, from 1972 to 1999, no investment was made at the airfield. In May 1999, the company Excelis S.A. purchased the site (airfield and circuit) and refurbished and modernised the installations.
A truly amazing place to fly to - I have enhanced the entire apron as it is today, all marking correctly set, acces to runway and the Heli area for the "Eggbeater" fan :)

This is a repaint for the Shockwave World War II Fighters P-51D Mustang, depicting P-51D 44-13708 "Duchess of Manhattan' as flown by Capt. Henry B. Lederer of the 374 FS/361FG, 'the Yellow Jackets', based in Little Walden, UK. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on blanks by Milan Žejdlík. This repaint should work in both FS9 and FSX, as do all my repaints.

VARIG B.737-33R PP-VPX C/N 28870-2899, ex Western Pacific N965WP.
Two type B.737-33R were adquired by VARIG for his fleet from the ex Western Pacific.
VARIG fleet had differents variant of the Boeing 737'(B.737-2C3Adv,B.737-241,B.737-2K9,B.737-2Q8,B.737-219,B.737-33A,B.737-36N,B.737-3K9,B.737-341,B.737-3Q8,B.737-4YO,etc)and the planes are the workhorse of the route systeme of the airline.
I have included a serie of 90 Flights to the main national and international destinations,all served with 737 and the timetable and numbers flights are the rights one of this year 2004.
Many flights are corrected to be acomplished with the 737 and not the Douglas DC-10(out of service by VARIG long time ago and remplaced with the MD-11), today only a few remmants of DC-10 fly cargo services
with VARIG Logistica.
Also included a new complete revised AirFile for the 737-300 type(17-04-04).
