This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22-RE 42-26267 B4-A "Sweet Sue", the assigned aircraft of Captain Julius 'Jack' Almond, of the 387th FS/ 365th FG. He was one of three pilots of the 387th that tested an electric bomb release, developed by the 387th's chief armorer, Sgt Joseph Piantino. They tested it for three months and found that it not only gave better accuracy, but was also easier to maintain. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22 42-26046 Y8-W "Fighting Gator" as flown by Lt. Fred Varn of the 507th FS/ 404th FG. It was a Republic Employee donated P47 that completed 200 missions without a technical abort and was retired from operational duties at a service conducted by the Group Commander. The aircraft was painted with the Republic Employee donated plaque and the ribbons of the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal and the Purple Heart. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney.

This is an updated version of the same repaint updated on July 3, 2010.
This repaint is of a C-54 circa 1950 in the livery of Cubana Airlines, aka Compania Cubana de Aviacion, SA. Cubana was at one time partially owned by Pan American World Airways, hence the similarity in livery. This was common amongst several air carriers in the Caribbean and South America, including Avensa, Panagra and Avianca. This skin requires the Jens B. Kristensen JBK DC-4 file (dc4_v21.zip). This file may be found on this and other popular FS web sites.

Description:
Horizon Air "Wings of the Great Northwest" had 10 DO328-110's and was the North American rollout airline, but in less than 5 years they were removed from the fleet due lack of parts, MFG Support, and other MTX issues. Passengers & Pilots loved them, but ground crews found them a nightmare. I thought since Horizon is retiring the Dash 8-Q200's I would do the only missing Horizon Plane in the FS World. This is a complete download by Robert Versluys.
Thanks to Nick Botamer for his help with this repaint. Enjoy! This a re-download of a lost file.

Released as an open championship gift to flight-simmers who golf (whether on a real course, or in Links 2003), this file contains textures for the CLS/JustFlight MD-81/82 payware, which you must have, to make them function. The fictive tail number has been placed unobtrusively, and shows a sense of humor. LinksAir is another concept of mine fusing FS with a popular PC golf sim that is still going strong, 9 years after it first appeared. Plans call for operating a virtual European mini-tour, this September (details in the READ ME). A splashscreen is also included.

This mission is a sightseeing tour that covers the San Francisco Bay Area. For the best experience, fly the mission with the cockpit in the "mini-mode" (From the default virtual cockpit hit F10, then hit "W" three times). It's not necessary to fly directly into the waypoint markers, they are only for reference. Follow the mission waypoint markers and compass headings and enjoy the flight. To install the program, unzip the files to a directory of your choice and double click the S.F. Bay Tour installer icon. Mission editing done with the fantastic FS Add-On Mission Editor.

A fictitous USCG helo base located east of Palmer Municipal airport in Alaska. The scenery has a water runway, float plane dock, a repair area with a usable ramp up to a dry dock and repair hanger. Added two new bridges, two cargo docks, 9 helipads with one as a start point and many other additions to enhance your FS world. Test your skills as you fly in and taxi up to the ramp, then up to the dry dock without over shooting it and ending in the repair hanger. Lots of candies on the base for your flying pleasure. This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-15-RE 42-25751 # 47 'Dragon lady', as flown by Dick Wiessner of the 526th FS/86th FG. His crew chief, sgt DeLuca, had started stripping the paint of the aircraft when it was decided camouflage was no longer needed, but Wiessner told him to forget the paint and concentrate on the negine. With succes, the aircraft survived the war without any problem, and later served in the French Air Force. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

File Description:
A repaint only for the payware Warbirdsim product 'Mustang Tales'. This repaint depicts the restored P-51D-20-NA 44-72339, which is an original combat vet that was flown by Lt. Hjalmar Johnsen, of the 401st FS, 370th FG, 9th Air Force, named "The Brat III". Between 2009 and 2011, while in the middle of the a ground-up restoration, the aircraft's WWII history became known, and the decision was made to finish the aircraft in the same markings that it had during WWII. The aircraft is part of the Cavanaugh Flight Museum, located in Addison, Texas.
