VTOL/Hover gauge for IRIS' F-35B JSF

File Description:
This freeware gauge adds VTOL & Hover features to the IRIS F-35B JSF. Besides true vertical takeoff&landing, it allows you to fly forward, backward, sideways and turn, while in a hover. This solution is based on overriding the normal FS flightdynamics while in a hover, simular to the implementation of catapult launch / cable arrest in my Carrier Operation Package; in short, it's a VTOL&Hover FDE coded in a gauge. Special thanks to Doug Dawson, who created a gauge that provides for overriding FS2004 variables from an XML gauge. Requires prior installation of the IRIS F-35B (payware) and FSUIPC (registered or unregistered). The README includes extensive installation and flying instructions. By Rob Barendregt.

Horton Ho-229v3 r2

File Description:
The Horten Ho-229 was a World War II prototype flying wing fighter/bomber. Designed by Reimar and Walter Horten and powered by two Jumo 004B turbojets it was built to carry a 1,000 kg load for 1,000 km at 1,000 km/h. This is an updated version with 6 skins and visual model from Kazunori Ito's FS 2004 Ho229ab version and flight model from Jay McDaniel/Scott Gentile CFS3 ho_229v5 version. It has been adapted to FSX with a new instrument panel and gauges based on original Ho-229 photographs (no VC). Integration and gauges by Fred Highland. Version r2 is the compute aircraft with impoved cockpit graphics and more realistic aero modelling.

Fouga Magister alternative 2D rear seat panel "periscopal" view

File Description:
This is an alternative 2D rear seat panel for the magnificent Fouga Magister by A. Chancel, J-P Langer, J-P Bourgeois, B. Dube and M. Hardouin which can be downloaded from http://restauravia.com. The aircraft is a true "must" for any FS addict and comes complete with a thorough documentation both in French and in English. It includes some very novel features, among which the possibility to "fly" the aircraft from the rear seat both with a conventional 3D view and with a so-called "periscopal" 2D view, just like in the real aircraft. This alternative "periscopal" view includes all the necessary instruments to land the aircraft from the rear seat. Happy flights!

F/A-18 Hornet panel with realistic HUD

File Description:
F/A-18 HUD and panel (2D and 3D) for use with Team FS KBT’s Super Hornet. Built from scratch for FSX, and at higher resolution than previous versions. Works well within the 3-D virtual cockpit. Multiple zooms in 2D also supported. Very little framerate loss in fullscreen. The symbology is now much more realistic (almost identical, pixel for pixel, to the real Hornet’s. See pics and video within.) New HUD features added, including courseline steering arrow (can be linked to NAV1, NAV2, or GPS), multiple clock modes, realistic HUD reject options, altitude options, energy caret, etc. Many pics and vids within, as well as useful and informative documents, including actual carrier pattern specs.

File Description:
Questa, New Mexico Scenery - N24 (FSX). This is a fictitious rendition of the actual airport in Questa, New Mexico USA - N24. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Questa. - http://www.acukwik.com/airportinfo/KN24. I took a boring airport and added some "eye-candy" in order to have something nice to look at in addition to the spectacular mountains. I created this for my own use but thought I would share it. This is the Third scenery creation of my New Mexico Small Airport series. This is freeware. I hope you enjoy it. Designed with the FS X Sdk Scenery function of the Mission builder and the Abacus Scenery shortcut tool. This scenery is frame rate friendly.

Air India Boeing 777-200ER

File Description:
Air India Boeing 777-200ER for AI Traffic; utilizing FS Painter's new 777v3 series model. This is virtually a full-feature aircraft for AI traffic, and flies very nice as well. Requires the new v3 model base file, available here on AVSIM. This file also contains some fixes for my last wave of repaints; it includes cfg entries for the last six (I forgot to add them), and correct DXT3 format lightmaps for all models, since I included the wrong lightmaps for the first 14 of my repaints (these are all straight from the basepack, but hopefully it will help to have them in one common folder). Model and base textures by FSPainter, et al.

File Description:
If you ever wanted to land a B737 at the most spectacular airport of the FS 2004 world, try this package. FS98 retro repaint - Boeing 737-400

File Description:
This paint scheme is a representation of the one the Boeing 737-400 included in Microsoft Flight Simulator 98 had. I've learned to fly the big birds in this airliner, so I (and I guess a lot of other FS pilots, maybe including you) share a lot of memories with that plane. Because of that I always wanted to have a 737-400 in the later versions of MSFS painted like that in FS98 was, but since I haven't found one yet, I decided to make one herewith myself... I hope you enjoy this repaint as much as I do! - TEXTURES ONLY, original model by FFX/SGA (freeware) required. For help where to get one from see readme.
