File Description: This is a repaint for the Aerosoft F-16 depicting Aviano AB F-16C 88-0535 of the 555th Fighter Squadron "Triple Nickel" in the new "Haveglass 5" paint scheme. To give this repaint a "Hi-Def" look I first painted the textures in 2048 then reduced them to the 'native' 1024 and saved them with DXT5 compression and no mip-maps. I also repainted the weapon textures in both LIVE and INERT, and painted the external tanks and pylons in BOTH Haveglass and Grey colors, so you can choose which type of weps/tanks you want on the jet.

42-76464, a P-47D-20, was assigned to Lt Floyd N Hass of the 391st FS/366th FG from Asch (Y29) in Belgium, january 1945. It was belly-landed by Lt Sampson after he'd been hit by flak. Repaint for the Shockwave P-47D by Jan Kees Blom.

P-51D 15th FG/78th FS Iwo Jima 100 "Jeanne VIII"

File Description:
P-51D-20 44-63973 was assigned to Major James M. Van de Hey, the CO of the 78th FS. He was a highly experienced veteran fighter pilot, who had scored his first victories flying a P-40 with the 45th FS in january 1944. He shot down a 'Dinah' on 7 april 1945, on the first VLR mission to Tokio. Jim van de Hey retired from the USAF in 1971 as a brigadier general. Repaint of the Shockwave WWII Mustang by Jan Kees Blom, based on paintkit by John Terrell.
