This package contains two repaints for Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Douglas DC-4 & C-54 V3.0. Featured are the C-54A's (modified to DC-4 standard) G-AOFW and G-AREK in the colours of British United Airways in 1961.
In December 1955 Freddie Laker's Air Charter acquired the C-54A G-AOFW 'Jason' for transport work in Germany and trooping flights from Stansted to Cyprus. In 1959 the aircraft was moved from trooping flights to service on the route Southend to Calais flying passengers on one-day trips without a passport till 1 July 1960 when Air Charter was merged into British United. In April 1963 Aviation Traders (Engineering) Ltd started converting G-AOFW to ATL.98 Carvair car-ferry aircraft. The first flight as a Carvair took place from Stansted on 11 February 1964. C-54A G-AREK was purchased by British United Airways in August 1960. The aircraft was earmarked to become a Carvair. Conversion started in December 1961. The first flight as a Carvair (all-cargo version) took place from Stansted on 2 November 1962.

This package contains two repaints for Jens B. Kristensen's FS2004 Douglas DC-4 & C-54 V3.0. Featured is the C-54A (modified to DC-4 standard) N57670 of Resort Airlines: one repaint representing the aircraft around 1956, the other at the end of its open air storage in 1961. Resort Airlines Inc (of Washington, DC, and Oakland, CA) was a US non-scheduled carrier that specialised in the operation of inclusive holiday tours to the Caribbean and also in military charter flying (Logair). The airline was operative between 1945 and 1960. Its fleet comprised of Curtiss C-46, Lockheed 1049H Super Constellation and Douglas DC-4/C-54 aircraft. Around 1961-62 five C-54s which had been stored at Oakland for some time, ranging from several months to 6 years, were rescued by Aviation Traders (of Southend and Stansted, England) from the scrapdealer's axe and converted to ATL.98 Carvair car-ferry and cargo aircraft. N57670, which was active with Resort during 1954-1956 only and had been deteriorating during the open air storage, was one of these lucky birds.

File Description:
A Military Airlift variant of the wellknow BAe-146-200 aircraft. Developed in the 1970's as a replacement for the RAF's strategic airlift capability, sadly the 146-STA never made it into production. This model features the distinctive re-fuel probe along the top of its fuselage , AIS components allowing cargo loading and the exclusive PUSHBACK feature. 2 texture sets are included depicting the protype aircraft, and a version in RNZAF livery. 8 variants are included for maximum flexibility for users, along with extensive check list information. The package is complete with the new 146 v3.0 Panel by Matthias Lieberecht. This new version now has complete working electric, hydraulic,fuel and pressurization systems to name a few. All are based on the real world
systems found in the 146 and have been realised with the help of real world BAe 146 and ARJ pilots. A fully working APU and GPU (not just dummies) is also realized together with a real battery lifetime of 20 minutes. A 100 page PDF manual which is necessary to handle all the functions is included. FS2002 panel config files are also included.

For the 100th Anniversary I´ll upload all the fleet, since 1940´s with the DC-2 to the last fleet that had when it flies, the Mark and Airline still exists, BUT It doesn´t fly since 2011. EC-KBM (cn 426)(Version 1). Hand drawn recreation of the Project Airbus A320-211 in Air Comet colorscheme. Air Comet (formerly Air Plus Comet) is an airline based in Madrid, Spain. It operates scheduled long-haul services from Madrid to 13 destinations in Central and South America, as well as services in Europe. Its main base is Madrid Barajas International Airport, Terminal 1. The airline was established in December 1996 as Air Plus Comet and started operations in March 1997. It mainly operated long-haul charter services from Madrid and Palma de Mallorca to destinations in the Americas and the Caribbean. It relaunched as a full service carrier under the Air Comet name in January 2007. It is wholly owned by Grupo Marsans.

Air Mediterranee is a big french charter operator with aircraft based in Paris CDG, Lyon and Nantes.
Their own fleet operate a large number of flights mainly to the Mediterranean but also beyond. This schedule depicts with high accuracy
a peak period activity. I have included flights operated by EC-LHL as the aircraft was operating during the entire period on behalf of Air Mediterranee.
More flights were operated during this period for which the airline wet leased various aircraft from other operators. As those leases were punctual, I have not included them in my schedule.
Additionaly, Air Mediterranee's aircraft seem to be operating some flights to Corsica on behalf of CCM Airlines. Those flights are included in the flightplan.
