FS2002 Navy EC-121K "Willy Victor" VW-1
"Malfunction Junction" is a repaint of Mike Stone's fantastic Super Connie (textures only), and a memorial tribute to my dad - flight engineer ADRC (Ret) Dick Wooton (3/31 - 1/94), who flew this beautiful bird and many others for over 12,000 hours with AEWBARRONPAC at Barbers Point, Hawaii; VW-1 Agana, Guam;and again at NAS PMR Pt. Mugu, Ca., and as well to all the other "gooney birds" that listened to them drone from Midway to Danang. He would have loved this. FAA Douglas DC-4A (EC-54D)
Reg. ID N87, msn 22187, ex U.S. Army Air Force
Douglas C-54D-15-DO Skymaster. Flight
inspection aircraft of U.S. Federal Aviation
Agency (1959-1967) in colors of 1963. Used as
a calibrator for international flight inspection
when checking and calibration navaids and instrument
procedures, including ILS, VOR, DME, TACAN, NDB,
various radars and airports. This repaint is
dedicated to James E. Creed (+2001), who between 1956
and 1975 was a flight inspection pilot at CAA/FAA
and later chief of FAA's flight inspection offices
in Japan (Tokyo/Tachikawa) and Germany (Frankfurt/
Rhine-Main-office). Although Jim type rated in many
aircraft the DC-4 was his favorite. His last DC-4
flights were with aircraft registered N87 on July
18/19/20 in 1963. Textures only. Original model
(DC4_v10.zip) by Jens B. Kristensen must be installed.

Model is done by Project Opensky and features the following: Dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence. Fully Animated control surfaces, pushback truck with animated ground crew, opening doors & cargodoors, accurate FDE, highly detailed textures, and lots more that you'll just have to find! Iberia is celebrating it's 80st anniversary, by painting it's newest airplane with this Retro scheme that the old Convair CV-440 Metropolitan used to wear.
