Ionian Airports - Greece

File Description:
The four airports in this upload were all designed using Airport Design Editor(ADE). I decided to put all four in this upload as between them they service the whole of the Ionian coastline and the islands, and are vital to the tourist industry in this area. With the exception of LGPZ, (which has ILS in the real world), I have included an ILS option in each airport folder. You should download the fabulous Lights package by Jim Dhaenens and the brilliant Car Park package by Sidney Schwartz, as modified by Martin Gossman at Owl's Nest, because two airports use one oe more of these great designs.

LGKR Corfu Airport, Greece

File Description:
This re-design was made using ADE (Airport Design Editor). As this is my first attempt to re-design an airport I need to thank scruffyduck and other simmers who helped me get over a few problems. I have enlarged the parking apron and the terminal building and corrected the parking allocations. Although this re-design is not totally accurate I have got as close as I can using Google Earth and a Jeppessen chart and my local knowledge. LGKR has no ILS system but I have added one for simmers who prefer to use it.

LGRX - Araxos Airforce Base, Greece

File Description:
LGRX - Araxos AB is a large Hellenic Airforce base located near Araxos Cape, Achaea Prefecture and serves the city of Patras as well as the western part of the Peloponese region. It is the home of the 116 Combat Wing. It is used by a few civilian airlines, mainly for the tourist industry.

The stock airport shows three runways in use, however in reality only one runway is currently used the centre runway is now the main taxiway. I have added the civilian apron and terminal buildings and various buildings and hangers throughout the base, all are Generic Buildings. Parking for Military and Civilian use, a cargo ramp and lots of trees. As usual I used the fantastic ADE (Airport Design Editor) to design this airport but you should download the great lights package by Jim Dhaenens as I have used some of his Apron Lights. I have provided ILS in one version for simmers who like to fly with it, although there is no ILS at Araxos.

LGSA - Chania International Airport - Chania, Greece

File Description:
The airport has been modified using the fabulous Airport Design Editor. I have completely modified the parking aprons for civilian and military flights. Mainly using Google Earth measurements and photographs. You should download the brilliant car park package by Sidney Schwartz, modified my Martin Gossman at Owls Nest. Also the great lights package by Jim Dhaenens. Both can be found on AVSIM.

LYPG - Podgorica, Montenegro

File Description:
Podgorica LYPG is the main airport of the small state of Montenegro. This AFCAD has been designed from the original FSX file to be more accurate to the current airport. Airport Design Editor was used in making this airport. You will need to download Large Car Parking objects by Sidnet Schwartz as converted and published by Martin Gossmann and FSX Lights by Jim Dhaenens both available for download on AVSIM LIBRARY.

EGUW Wattisham Army Air Base, Suffolk, England

File Description:
Wattisham is a large Army Air Corps base in Suffolk, England. The stock airport on my version of FSX showed only a runway with a control tower in the middle of it, not good for fixed wing aircraft. I have used Airport Design Editor (ADE) and Google Earth to rework the airfield. The ILS did not work on my version so I have added a new one, I had to "orphan" the stock ILS, so it will look odd on your GPS, but it works well. See the ReadMe file for the other things I have done to make EGUW more realistic and Download Jim Dhaenens great light package for the apron lights. If you have other *.bgl files for EGUW then remove them before installing this design. Chiang Mai International VTCC

File Description:
Chiang Mai International Airport VTCC, serves Chiang Mai city in Northern Thailand. It ia also the home of 411 Squadron of the Royal Thai Airforce. Chiang Mai serves more than 10 million passengers each year. I have used ADEX and Google Earth plus available charts to modify the stock airport in FSX. Added aircraft parking according to the charts. And some static models.

USSS - Koltsovo Airport - Yekaterinburg, Russia

File Description:
Yekaterinburg, Koltsovo International Airport USSS, serves Yekaterinburg, Russia. The airport serves 4.2 million passengers a year. It has been a civil airport since 1943.

I have changed the FSX stock airport in several ways. Shifted the angle and position on RWY 08R-26L and re-aligned the ILS. Added ILS to RWY 08L-26R. Corrected the parking positions in line with charts. I have used ADE and Google Earth to achieve these corrections. I have also added several generic buildings to reflect the real airport.

You should download the brilliant car park package by Sidney Schwartz, modified my Martin Gossman at Owls Nest. Also the great lights package by Jim Dhaenens. Both can be found on AVSIM and other good flight sim libraries.

UEEE - Yakutsk Airport - Yakutsk, Russia

File Description:
Yakutsk UEEE, Russia. This AFCAD was requested by a fellow simmer. I used ADEX to rework the stock FSX file. The aircraft parking has been completely overhauled. Various generic buildings Have been added to give it a better feel. I have added the ILS on runway 23. Measurements were taken from Google Earth and from the Jeppesen chart.

URKK - Krasnodar International Airport - Krasnodar, Russia

File Description:
Krasnodar International Airport, Russia, also known as Pashkovsky Airport is the main airport serving the southern Russian city of Krasnodar. It is an international airport, and is located 12 km east of the centre of Krasnodar city. It is the 9th busiest airport in Russia. In 2015, it handled more than 3.1 million passengers.

I have used ADEX, Google Earth and charts to rework this sirport. The airport is currently undergoing re-development as shown on Google Earth views dating from early in 2016. So, although the images on Google Earth show runway 05R - 23L to be closed and the taxiway looking as if it is used as a temporary runway, I have stuck with what the charts show as the working airport. Therefore the two active runways are designated 05L - 23R and 05R - 23L.
