File Description:
BOAC was an early customer for the DC-7C and had a fleet of ten. G-AOIE was delivered to BOAC on Dec. 14th 1956. This aircraft was subsequently loaned to carrier, BEA. This is an exceptionally rare bird since the airplane is foriegn and loaned to British European Airways for Euro Domestic flights. These files are skins only and require the DC-7C by Tom Gibson/Greg Pepper found both at Avsim and Calclassic.com. Please check for updates as these occur on occasion with improvements or corrections.

Based on repaint templates by Mark Beaumont and original textures by Jan Visser, this texture set in Northwest Airways (NWA) livery requires the base DC-3 package available from Mid Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org.
This is a repaint of G-AMPY which was built in 1943 and served with NWA. She was built for the USAF and then transferred to the RAF in 1944. She served with a number of Airlines after WWII This repaint is based on the 50th Anniversary livery (1986). There is also an FSX version of the texture available on this site. This is a repaint of the Manfred Jahn DC-3 v3 in Somali Airlines colors. Somali began operations in 1964 and the DC-3s were their first aircraft. They operated a total of 4 DC-3s in the 1960s until the early 1970s. You need the freeware C-47 v3 (DC-3) by Manfred Jahn. This aircraft was tested on FSX-SE & P3D v3.
