The New England Military AI Aircraft and Airbase Collection Part 4

File Description:
The New England Military AI Aircraft and Airbase Collection name for our FS2002/FS2004 add-on package says it all. The first three parts of this four part package contain two custom repaints and custom AI air and cfg files for the aircraft flown by the ten major military flying units in New England. In order to use them you will also need to download the base aircraft, repaint and add-on packages of the original creators that allowed us to use their work and whom, though too numerous to mention here, are all acknowledged in the included ReadMe file. The fourth part of this package contains original custom AFCAD2 files, traffic source files and a traffic.bgl file to be used with these military AI aircraft and their airbases. Orbiter *.msh File Export / Import Tool for Gmax and 3DSMax v1.2

File Description:
Version 1.2 of the .msh file export/import tool for gmax and 3DSMax. New in this version:

• reorganised the 3 scripts into one script defining 2 utilities with their own rollouts, feature for saving to a file or dumping to Listener is now selectable through radio buttons, the script should now be placed in the scriptsstartup directory of gmax/3DSMax and can then be used via the MAXScript rollout in the Utilities tab
• grouped objects are now exported correctly, group objects are skipped, also nested groups should work
• all objects with transparent materials assigned (opacity < 100) are now placed at the end of the mesh file
• new feature for rotating the mesh by 90 degrees around x on import/export this makes it easier to edit models in gmax, especially ground scenes
• fixed a problem on importing meshes that don't specify normal vectors
• made import more stable towards meshes that don't 100% conform to the .msh format
• external tool "GMaxMshGrabber" for grabbing the .msh file output from the MAXScript Listener window to a file is now part of the package

Grand Teton and Yellowstone N.P., Wyoming, background bitmaps for Ground2K4 design

File Description:
This package DOES NOT contain finished FS scenery products!!! Instead, the three bitmaps (N43.2-44.8 W110.0-111.2) are meant to be used for FS landscape scenery design with Ground2K4 (by Christian Fumey) or similar utilities. Source data are public domain Landsat 7 ETM+ satellite images, at 15-m and 30-m ground resolution. I used professional GIS software for the geographic transformation to lat/long-WGS84 projection, and photo processing software for channel merging and image enhancements. Each image has been tested in Ground2K4 for accurate placement.
