File Description:
PSS A320 IAE V2500-A5@27000Lbs With LIP (Lift Improvement Package) By Alan Fernandes and Samir Arman. Application of LIP on A320-IAE has been developped with the main objective to improve landing performance at SDU (PR-MAG and PR-MAK / TAM Aircrafts). LIP allows to reduce the approach speed by 6-7 kt for operational landing weights. Note: Preliminary estimate of the speed benefit was around 4kt. Five structural modifications have been introduced to change the aerodynamic configuration of the aircraft: 3 modifications on the wing leading edge, 1 modification on the engine nacelle (not modeled) and 1 modification on the wing trailing edge. The textures have a "dirty" look which is how I imagine a hard-working light cargo variant of the aircraft might look. For "clean" textures that reflect the aircraft in Private Charter/VIP mode check out iona690cl.zip also available from Avsim.
