1939 - Imperial Airways "Reserve" Route - England to Australia via Africa

File Description:
In June 1939 a survey was carried out for a route between Australia and Great Britain in the event of war cutting the existing path through the Middle and Far East. Cpt. P. G. Taylor proposed a path across the Indian Ocean to Mombasa via Cocos Island, Diego Garcia and the Seychelles. On June 4th. the survey flight departed Port Hedland aboard the PBY-1 "Guba". In a similar fashion, Imperial Airways planned a "Reserve" route from Britain to Mombasa via Lisbon, the Canaries, Bathurst (West Africa) and Lagos. It is not known if this route was used in full or in part. This package includes two flights covering the entire route, one for the Imperial Airways section and the other for the "Guba" survey flight.

US Airways Boeing 737-400 New Colors

File Description:
As US Airways paints their fleet, N445US was one of the first 737-400 to recieve the new livery, an aircraft I have actually flown on in real ife. For some reason, the flag near the registration number is missing. Includes night lighting textures and is painted on the great Vistaliners model. Enjoy!
