I was flying around the FSX world looking for a real world sloping airstrip just begging to be modeled with a touchdown tire squealing, smoking rubber - that kind of hardened surface sloping runway after I finally figured out how to persuade the FSX SDK to compile one. The Airfield Candidate shall have high density LiDAR elevation and high resolution Orthoimagery data available for public download. I was flying a Beechcraft Baron 58 over Wanaque Reservoir in Northeast NJ of all places when I happened upon a photo scenery runway on a sloping hill top without the usual FSX flattened airport plateau effect and FSX textured runway. Grise Fiord Airport (CYGZ) N76.25.34 W82.54.36 is located in the Qikiqtaaluk Region of the territory of Nunavut, and is one of the northernmost inhabited settlements of Canada and the whole world. The scenario shows the airport infrastructure and the small town not far from the airport. This scenario goes to fill the absence of scenarios towards the North Pole. The airport is open only in the mei that go from August to October where it is practically possible to land considering also the proximity of mountains remains one of the most difficult and dangerous airports.

Greater Kankakee Airport serves Kankakee and Kankakee County and is owned by Kankakee Valley Arpt Auth. The airport has more than one runway. The longest is a paved runway extending 5979 feet. File Description:
This aircraft is a customization, upgrade and optimization of Arik Hohmeyer's fine L10E from FS-Design Berlin. The intent was to match it as closely as possible to Earhart's L10E Lockheed Electra. Dave Bitzer's research at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. and independent work by Alex Nicolson resulted in over two-dozen flight-dynamics changes, including proper-capacity long range tanks. Norman Hancock designed two custom panels for this historic aircraft; a classic version with a Sperry AP and a modern one with a digital AP and more navigation equipment. The Cambridge Engine Analyzer, Sextant, Drift Meter, and pop-up E6-B computer are standard on both panels. Easy one-step install.

These 2 BGL files were designed with the latest version of ADE (v1.26) and made only for the FSX default airport: one with the Crosswind rwy operating, now activated with ADE where all 3 rwy's will be used for takeoff/landing and one as default: assigned parking with extra parking, missing gates added where possible, although Frontier no longer frequent Reno I have left their gate B6 allocated for those that requested this, extra fuel trucks, support vehicle roads rebuilt and many other improvements, airport views are from the roof of the control tower (when in tower view) fully tested with Ultimate Traffic/WOAI but not required, please view the readme before installation

File Description:
Eurocopter AS-365N1 Dauphin from the Norwegian company Lufttransport A/S. This helicopter is used as an ambulance, and it has all the correct views from the pilot seat and cabin crew seat. Also, to reflect this particular aircraft, we've included a different main panel, pedestal and overhead panel. The real helo has a moving map, so we used the fine one from ROTW. Some instruments and lights have a blue color, that's for use with night vision goggles in the real one. On this model, only the aft door opens. Neither the pilots nor their doors are animated. Since it's an older N1, the flight and performance data is somewhat tweaked compared to the original N2.

File Description:
Caribbean Airlines Dash 8-300 '9Y-WIN', an all white one with Caribbean Airlines signature and Hummingbird, the second of the five Dashes BWA has in service, as of May 2008. This little project started a few weeks ago, as all available repaints do not match the excellent B737w repaint made by Brian Mitchell. Handpainted (NO photo paste at all!), correct signature, paintkit details by Todd Disrud and Darren Belanger, no upperwing reg as none of the aircraft do have one in real life. Color matched where it is necessary and possible. Textures only for the PAI Dash 8-300 model, available seperately, 32Bit and DXT3 included, as well as custom lightmap.
