After more than 2000 downloads, I am pleased to announce a much anticipated UPDATE to WashDCX Beta. WashDCX 1.0 contains even more D.C. models and buildings, all of which have both Transparent and Night textures added. I have also expanded the Satellite Photo scenery around the National Mall area; added support for scenery complexity; added trees and more traffic; and corrected the destination bug within the installer program. You will also find many tourist among the more popular tourist destinations in Washington D.C. I hope that this addon will greatly enhance your flying experience around the D.C. Metro area. Be sure to check out both the Screen Shots and Video area on my website for a look at what is included in WashDCX 1.0. I encourage your comments either by email or on the forum for all others to see. File Description:
An FS2002 GPS flight Plan. The 34th in a series of Round the World flight plans for the FS2002 default scenery. Depart Guwahati runway 02, India and arrive 1 hour 04 minutes later at Paro (VQPR) runway 33, Bhutan. A quiet and gentle flight, at least for the first 14 minutes then on entering a deep valley to start a pass storming climb into the snow capped mountains the mood of the flight changes. A session of dodging through gaps in the peaks concludes with a ‘Dive Bomber” VFR finals into a airport surrounded by very high ground and with its runway in a deep pit in a valley bottom, brings the session to an end. Pilots who have so far enjoyed the brand of fun and nonsense I call flight planning, will not be disappointed with this flight. The flight briefing (Word and text) is for a B737-400, it contains climb, cruise, top of descent and fuel loading details, waypoint timings and destination details.

The Dash-8 Q400 by Majestic Software for FSX is a very complex model, and therefore continuous practice is normally needed to remain current on this aircraft. This EASY FLYING GUIDE is made for those who want to fly this wonderful model only occasionally, without studying the manuals before each flight. The EASY FLYING GUIDE leads you through your flight with the Majestic Software Dash-8 Q400, from the preparation of the FSX until engine shutdown at the parking position of the destination airport. It is a kind of checklist, amended by additional information (e.g. where the switches for each step are located in the cockpit and how to operate the essential FMS functions). Besides a PDF, there is also a DOC file which allows you to modify the guide for your own needs (but not for further distribution/publishing!). MYNN - Lynden Pindling Intl - Nassau, Bahamas
Lynden Pindling International Airport was formerly known as Nassau International Airport and is the largest airport in the Bahamas, and the largest international gateway into the country.
It is a major hub for Bahamasair and is located in western New Providence island near to the capital city of Nassau. The airport contains U.S. Border preclearance facilities allowing all US flights to operate as domestic flights upon arrival at their destination.
Currently, the airport has 2 runways, more than 30 gates and 482,000 sq ft (44,800 m2) of terminal space. The redevelopment updated the airport facilities to world-class standards and expanded terminal capacity. The work was carried out in three stages. The first stage was completed in March 2011.
Using ADEx 1.50, aeronautical maps and Google Earth all these and future changes have been built into the default FSX airport. Crosswind Runway Technique has been implemented to open up all runways.

File Description:
I have completely reconstructed CYXS using ADE (v1.40), Google Earth satellite images and current airport chart. Runways have been repositioned and runway 15/33 extended from 7400 ft to 11450 ft. ILS has been added to runway 33. Roads, parking areas and new buildings added. Aprons readjusted. Automated jetways added. Parking for AI aircraft and refueling truck added. Additional scenery objects have been added and to view these will require you to install additional files as described below. Airport views are from the roof of the control tower.

The Runway Expansion Project has transformed runway 15/33 from 7,400 ft. to 11,450 ft., complete with centre line (LED) lighting, dual ILS navigational systems and a dedicated de-icing refueling pad for wide body aircraft. File Description:
The Comox valley Airport is located in Comox, East side of Vancouver island, British Columbia, within a three hour drive to most Vancouver Island locations. Comox Valley is, as well, one of many destination for Air Canadian Sun from Air Canadian V.A!
I have re-organised the entire airport layout while keeping the main frame. I have included Parking lot and traffic (static) in the south, the cargo area in the north west, the north east parking, readjusted the 3 helipads to their correct spot, added some parking spot for small and medium aircrafts as well as cargo.
*Important* :Note the ILS fix created by Jim Vile that is suiting as well the airport. Thank you for that! ;)
I have reassigned the main Rwy to 12/30 instead of 11/29 done by FSX including all taxi sign. All maintenance hangar and closed taxiway on the east side.
The push back trucks at the main terminal south and cargo north are set to auto, enjoy a push back! ;)

[Version 1.1 adds thumbnail images and proper installation instructions for users of Sbuilder. If you have installed the previous version of this object library and are not using Sbuilder to place objects in your scenery, you do not need to install version 1.1.]
You'll finally have a place to get one of those $150 hamburgers when you arrive at your destination. This is a collection of Gmax restaurant scenery objects for use with FS9. They are intended for smaller airports that don't have the usual food court inside the terminal building. Some of the restaurants have an aviation theme, some don't. Most of them are also available with the signage removed so you can use them as small terminal buildings or whatever else you want. Also included are some outdoor chairs, tables and table umbrellas, and a variety of vending machines. Should work with just about any payware or freeware program that is able to place scenery library objects in FS9, including RWY12, Instant Scenery, EZ-Scenery, Airport Design Editor, etc.
