File Description:
An FS2K4 GPS flight and plan by the Ancient Brit and the RTW-K4 Team for the FS2K4 default aircraft (B737-400) and scenery. Depart Zurich (LSZH) runway 16, Switzerland and arrive 59 minutes later at Zeltweg A.B (LOXZ) runway 08, Austria. The plan is fully flight briefed with Word and text briefings and kneeboard in-flight briefing. A start-up flight that loads the plan, weather and kneeboard flight briefing is included; also a short Finals practise flight is included. A low level departure through an Alpine valley is followed by a frolic between mountain tops before the flight concludes with another valley approach and a non-ILS landing.

Depart Southend (EGMC) runway 24, UK and arrive 1 hour 54 minutes later at Stornoway (EGPO) runway 36, Scotland. Following a low level pass over London Town to see the sights, Heathrow is viewed on the way to Windsor Castle where the climb to cruise begins. An early descent for a low level tour of the Inner Hebrides with a chance to see that most rare and endangered animal, The Lesser Spotted Haggis, finishes with a VFR finals (Handholding instructions given).. Depart Stornoway (EGPO) runway 36, Scotland and arrive 47 minutes later at Vagar (EKVG) The Faroes Islands. Vagar, a small airport but rated for B737’s. The offset ILS is ignored in this plan and a VFR finals is used. Full hand holding details for the VFR finals are given. The flight briefing (Word and text) is for the default B737-400; it contains climb, cruise, top of descent and fuel loading details, waypoint timings and destination details.

Depart Orly (LFPO) runway 07, Paris, France and arrive 56 minutes later at Southend (EGMC) runway 24, UK. The departure takes you for a low level tour of Paris past the Eiffel Tower before climbing to cruise for the short trip to Southend. Southend is famous for its cockles, whelks, mussels and jellied eels. You will enjoy yourself there. Don’t forget to walk along the pier wearing your “Kiss me Quick” hat. Depart Athens (LGAT) runway 16C, Greece and arrive 1 hour 55 minutes later at Zurich (LSZH) runway 14, Switzerland. A low level departure takes over the Holy City. A climb to FL280 is followed by a descent to skim the Alps and a further descent is made for the approach along an Alpine valley. The flight briefing (Word and text) is for the default B737-400; it contains climb, cruise, top of descent and fuel loading details, waypoint timings and destination details.

An FS2002 GPS flight Plan by The Ancient Brit. The 45th in a series of Round the World flight plans for the FS2002 default scenery. Depart Athens (LGAT) runway 33R, Greece and arrive 2 hours 03 minutes later at Fiunicino (LIRF) runway 16C, Rome, Italy. Depart low level over the centre of Athens viewing the Parthenon, climb to FL350 cruise level and descend for a low level approach over the centre of Rome viewing the Coliseum and St. Peter’s. The flight briefing (Word and text) is for the default B737-400; it contains climb, cruise, top of descent and fuel loading details, waypoint timings and destination details. This flight plan replaces 45RTWest where an instruction to descend to 1,000 ft. instead of 2,000 ft. may cause collision with high ground. My apologies to those who have downloaded my original version.
