File Description:
Antonov An-8 for retro AI Traffic. The An-8 was a two-engine turboprop transport, used from the 1960s-early 2000s, and was the predecessor of the An-10/12 four-engine transports. This MCX conversion of the FS9 SBAI An-8 model is only compatible with P3Dv4.5-P3Dv5.2. The aircraft models have PBR texturing with dynamic light effects, lua-scripted night lighting, and hard-coded lights and smoke effects.
This package includes nine models and 52 repaints focusing on the aircraft during its service life, including many civilian operators. 22 of the paints are mine, and the other 30 are from other authorized sources, listed in the documentation. Models are described in the documentation. Permissions for conversion were kindly given by Sergey Bunevich on behalf of SBAI for the model, and Christian Gold of the Retro AI Traffic Group for most of the repaints. Instructions and extensive credits are in the documentation included in the package. Original aircraft by SBAI, MCX and RADiator utilities by Arno Gerretsen, MCX conversion and select repaints by Michael Pearson.

| CSA Czech Airlines 1998 AI |

File Description:
Czech Airlines(abbreviated to CSA) is the national airline of the Czech Republic and one of the world's oldest surviving air carriers. Having been on the Eastern Side of the "Iron Curtain" during the Cold War, the airline historically operated Russian aircraft. However, by 1998, the airline had transitioned to a Western fleet though 4 Tu-154Ms remained solely preforming charters. All long-haul services were provided by the carriers 2 A310-300s, so most routes were only operated a few days per week at most. As many of the repaints included multiple variations, these flightplans were made to suit the variations. If you wish not to use them, simply assign the same paint to both versions. Included is a texture for the TCAI Tu-154M, links to the other required textures by various authors are included. Flightplans by Vadim Stepanyuk and Chasen Richardson. | Palestinian Airlines 1998 AI Package |

Palestinian Airlines was the short-lived hopeful airline of Palestine. Until the opening of the Yasser Arafat International Airport on the Gaza Strip(GZA\LVGZ) in November 1998, all flights were based out of the Al Arish Airport(AAC\HEAR) in Egypt. As I find GZA more interesting, I have made a version of these plans that use GZA and a version that use AAC, as in the September OAG, all flights were using AAC. Scheduled flights were flown by a lone Fokker 50, with 3x weekly to AMM and 2x weekly to JED. The 727-200 was doing charters to cities in the region, so I made representative plans for it using photo data and some other information I was able to find out about the routes and even general timings. The 727-200 departs GZA/AAC at 0830 daily and spends the night upon arrival, so you can often catch it at the home base while still seeing it abroad. | Hawaiian Air 1998 AI Package |

File Description:
Hawaiian Air was a shell of itself in the Transpacific market in 1998 compared to today, while it was fiercely competing with Aloha Airlines in the intra-Hawaii market. DC-10-10s preformed all Long Haul flights as well as those to the USA, while a fleet of DC-9-50s competed with Aloha between the islands. At the time, all flights from OGG to the mainland actually originated in Honolulu and made a stop in Maui in each direction on which no tickets were sold between HNL\OGG. LAX was used as a stop over point as well for flights between HNL\OGG and LAS. All mainland flights from HNL were daily while flights to other destinations in the Pacific and between the mainland and OGG were operated only a few days per week. HNL-LAX was the busiest route for the DC-10, with 3 daily flights. The MD-80s, other DC-9 variants, and the DHC-7s were gone by 1998, but the DC-9-50s still served the smaller airports of LNY and MKK(even with some very short flights between the two) at the time which were soon after abandoned until Ohana by Hawaiian was launched in recent years with ATR-42s. | ALM Antillean Airlines 1998 |

In 1998, ALM was just 3 years from failure. The airline was operating 3 MD-82s and 4 DHC-8-300s mostly from CUR onwards to nearby nations as well as to ATL and MIA, while frequenting SXM as well. Now, I did the best I could, but this airlines schedule was a mess! It would often show the same flight number being flown at 3 or 4 different times on the same day with slight variation (as in LM810 CUR-BON leaving at 1505, 1510, and 1515 ALL on Friday, which is obviously an error). A very odd schedule. None the less, I was able to put it together with just 1 extra DHC-8-300 which is segregated if you don't wish to include it. The DHC-8s often turn in 10-15 minutes, and the MD-80s in 25-30, so the fleet keeps rather busy. TFS DHC-8-300 repaint by Christian Gold and Antoine Calleja\APG included.
