Tradewinds Airlines Cargo Summer 2008

File Description:
These are flightplans for scheduled Tradewinds Airlines flights drawn from their online schedule. They include 48 of 48 flights (100%). Tradewinds filed Chapter 11 in July, returned its 747s and reduced their personnel by 70% though they continue their services as shown. They are reportedly flying only three A300-B4s, however the flightplans call for four. Registrations of the aircraft are speculations (their four newest A300s.) Tradewinds has been in operation since 1973 and is based at the Piedmont Triad Int'l Airport in Greensboro, NC. These plans may be installed using MRAI setup, or manually using Lee Swordy's TTools.

Manchester (EGCC/MAN) Ground Improvements (v1.0)

File Description:
Includes: Ocean Sky ramp, ROMPA light aircraft park, TATON light aircraft park, Access to Western Maintenance, Re-designation of runways to current format (ILS etc. also changed to suit), Re-designation of taxiways, Frequency changes, Added some hold points (more in later version), Other general taxiway adjustments. The inspiration came from a recent VATSIM session from EGCC. I was flying my Tomahawk but had no scenery for TATON, ROMPA, or the Ocean Sky GA areas there. So I've used my real-world charts and Google Earth to add these three areas to the default AFCAD. Also note that the runways have been re-numbered to 23/05(L/R), and I have made the Western Maintenance area accessible. My other objective was to insert and change the taxiway designators, so many of these have been cleaned up and changed too. See Readme file for more details...enjoy!

Woodvale (EGOW) Ground Improvements (v1.0)

File Description:
Includes: Military dispersals, light aircraft park, re-designation of runways to current format, runway placement, frequency changes, general taxiway adjustments, inclusion of Merseyside police helipad, and much more. I'd call it a little more than an improvement over Microsoft's 'two-runway-no-taxiway' version. Something for us Air Cadets out there! I've used my real-world charts and Google Earth to apply areas to the default AFCAD. I have noticed that there is an unused dispersal from its war-era on the south-side, but I haven't included it because it is not very significant - but if I notice any issues later on I'll make an effort to put it in for a little eye-candy and realism. File Description:
These are flightplans for scheduled Alaska Airlines flights drawn from their online schedule. They include 2,791 flights, now transitioned to an all Boeing 737 fleet. Alaska Airlines is an airline based in Seattle, Washington, USA. It operates four hubs located at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, Portland International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport. SATSair Complete Package Summer 2008

File Description:
This package includes representative flightplans for SATSair (Smart Air Travel Systems) drawn from flightaware and a texture for Mike Cronin's AI SR22 (available on AVSIM). SATSair is an air taxi system in the southeast US using 22 Cirrus SR-22s for on demand air travel. From their website: "SATSair offers regional point-to-point air transportation that is safe, convenient and cost effective. Aircraft are pre-positioned strategically throughout the service area, allowing customers to board a SATSair aircraft and depart with little notice. SATSair eliminates the frustrations of crowded airline terminals, long security lines and lengthy connections. In addition, SATSair utilizes numerous airports that the airlines don't, making it exceptionally convenient for rural destinations and multiple-stop itineraries."
