| Israeli Desert Camo P-47D |
|
File Description:
This skin represents "42", a P-47D Thunderbolt flown by Lt. Hurya B'Yessin, of the First Fighter Squadron, based at Ramat David, Israel 1948. Major Lee requested a desert P-47, the two tone brown has already been done, so here's my version of a desert camo.
I have tried a new technique for applying panel lines and rivets, it took three times as long as they came out a little bit too big, but they show great detail!
Many thanks to RussoUK2002 and Team for creating the P-47N for Strike Fighters, and enhancing our SF WW2 experience. And of course AVSIM for hosting!

| Maersk Air UK BAC One-Eleven 408 |
|
File Description:
Built for Channel Airways as G-AWEJ this aircraft later joined British Airways in September 1973 taking up it's new identity due to a callsign conflict with Merchantman G-APEJ. After years of sterling service with BA it was withdrawn in November 1988 and stored. Transfered to Birmingham European in February 1990, it found itself with Brymon European in November 1992 after Brymon was merged with BEA. By August 1993 the Birmingham outfit had become Maersk Air UK and the aircraft found itself back in BA livery until April 1997 when it was sold to Nationwide Air Charter in South Africa. | Aerotransportes Litoral Argentino (ALA) BAC 111-521FH |
|
File Description:
Argentina's ALA (Aerotransportes Litoral Argentino) took delivery of a pair of One-Eleven 420ELs in the second half of 1968 and added a single 520FH (this plane, LV-JNT/construction number H196) in November, 1969. All three 1-11s were transferred to Austral Lineas Aeras when Austral merged with ALA in 1971. This particular stretched One-Eleven served with the airline till June, 1994. These textures require the BAC One-Eleven 500 model by David Maltby's DM Flight Sim (available at http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk). The fuselage, engines and tail unit have been rendered in 32-bit format, with DXT3s used everywhere else. And to prevent the blurries this one's mip-less.
