This aircraft is offered in the colours of N397LG, "Flight for Life" operating out of Penrose Main Hospital, Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA.
Features include nav/strobe lights, rotor animation and animated crew heads which move to look in the direction of turn when rudder is applied. The layout of the cabin interior is guesswork based on experience of the layout of a UK medevac AS355.

This Scenery includes complete traffic files for 1955, 1957, 1959 and 1962 along with all the many different aircraft types which were stationed there, many included with this package. Many custom repaints by DeltaDart of the actual squadron colors and and orginal aircraft and paints by Mike Pearson and David Wooster also covering actual squadrons at Hamilton. I am very proud to present this very detailed and realistic repaint of the BAC 1-11 204AF model by David Maltby in the classic US Air livery from the early 80's. This was one of the original jets flown by US Air. It flew side by side in their fleet with the B727, DC9 and 737-200. This repaint is the result of a major overhaul of the paintkit for this aircraft, and is very detailed and realistic. The many new details and hand repainted items include; custom metal fuselage, custom windows, custom tail textures, hand painted wheels, and also much needed night lighting and night textures. The US Air logo is also hand painted. All repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps. This repaint is dedicated to Lorne Jordan, a Canadian simmer who inspired this project and who helped Q/A this repaint so we didn't miss a detail. Thanks to the permission granted by of the gracious and talented David Maltby (creator of this aircraft model), this is a full installation package, complete with 2D panel, virtual cockpit and BAC 1-11 sounds. File Description:
Dan Air leased a number of Comets to East African Airways as the African carriers own machines were found to be suffering from corrosion. This one was better known as G-APDD in the Dan Air fleet. It was in service with EAA for less than two months from Dec 28 1970 to Feb 21 1971 and made the last Comet flight for EAA. It then flew another eighteen months with Dan Air before it was scrapped in March 1973. Requires the DH 106 Comet 4 model by David Maltby
