Abbreviated Brake and Overspeed Messages. If you find the red reminder messages about Brakes and Overspeed intrusive, this package contains revised language.dlls which will abbreviate these messages and/or remove the Overspeed message entirely. These files are an expansion of the modifications originally done in 2005 by Brent Hricziscse - braketext.zip. That file is not required. This file modification will ONLY work with the ENGLISH version of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the very easy instructions.

Knoxville, Tennessee - McGhee-Tyson Airport (KTYS). A simple enhancement of the default airport using the RWY12 Object Placer program and Lago's FSE. FSE is not required but will make the display more interesting if you do have it. The RWY12 program is NOT required - all textures are included. There are setups for those who do have RWY12 and for those who do not. Please unzip to a temporary folder (using folders option) and follow the very simple install instructions.

Creating Fuel Triggers in FS2004 - an Illustrated Tutorial. Having enough fuel is critical to the succesful completion of any flight. This tutorial will show you how to create invisible Fuel Trigger areas which can be used at any airport. When you place your aircraft in one of the trigger areas (a gate or fueling station) your tanks will be automatically filled. All required files are included and no programming knowledge is needed. If I can do do it, anyone can! Please unzip to a temporary folder of your choice and follow the simple instructions. Panel Icon for use with Airport Chart Viewer Program - with an illustrated installation guide. This package provides a panel icon for use with the fine program by Holger Maass - apchart.zip. Because it is listed in the FSX category here in the library, many may not be aware the program works well in FS2004 also. I have created this panel icon to easily invoke the Chart Viewer while flying. No programming knowledge is required. The icon can be added to vitually any panel and setups for the default Beech Baron 58 and B737-400 are included. Please unzip this package to a temporary folder and follow the instructions. The guide has been compiled in .DOC and .PDF formats for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.

The excellent Stearman/Eagle Field package (stear04.zip from Flightsim.com) has an error in the Traffic file which prevents one of the two Bi-Wing Stearman Kaydet aircraft from displaying. Improper display of aircraft propellers when using FS2004 aircraft in FSX with Service pack 2 is a well known issue. The "fix" has been documented in several forum posts but I thought an Illustrated tutorial outlining the correction steps would be useful. If I can do it, anyone can.

File Description:
AI Water "aircraft" for Lake Okanagan, BC. This package features an AI Sternwheeler ship, an AI Waco Bi-wing plane and AI Cabin Cruisers set on Lake Okanagan, near Penticton and Kelowna, BC, Canada. Offerred as an interesting scenery enhancement, it also demonstrates the use of the "forward departure" (no push-back) technique as applied to water based aircraft. A few EZ objects have also been used to decorate the dock areas where the AI "craft" will be seen. This enhancement has been tested with the default FS2004 scenery only and may not work with other enhancements (such as UT-Canada) which alter the shorelines of Lake Okanagan. Other downloads may be required or are recommended. Complete details about these will be found in the instructions. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the easy installation instructions. File Description:
The Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad. All aboard! This is a re-creation of the OCSR, which runs from Garibaldi, Oregon along the seashore to Rockaway Beach. It is designed to compliment the Tillamook, Oregon Airport scenery by John McKeon and David "Opa" Marshall (tills47.zip and tillup.zip - available here).
The project utilizes objects from selected EZ and RWY12 libraries as well as the new Railroad Object library by John McKeon (ezrrobjm.zip - also available here). If you have the LAGO FSE program you will be able to hear the Steam Train whistle and the nearby seagulls as files for these sounds are included. This scenery was designed to display properly in the default FS2004 environment. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the simple installation instructions.
