This is a repaint of the Dino Cattaneo's S-3B "Viking". These textures represent a Viking of VS-38, "Red Griffins" as it appeared on the USS Ranger in June, 1989. On April 17, 2004, the squadron was officially disestablished at NAS North Island, CA as the Vikings were eliminated from USN inventory. The textures are those of an artist interpretation and resulting rendition. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need Dino Cattaneo's Lockheed S-3B Viking freeware package.

On February 28, 2005, the squadron was officially disestablished as the Vikings were eliminated from USN inventory. This version has the TPS. The textures are those of an artist interpretation and resulting rendition. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need Dino Cattaneo's Lockheed S-3B Viking freeware package.
Textures work in FSX and P3D.

File Description:
FSX Pilotable Frigate HMCS Ville de Quebec. This addOn provides two versions of a Canadian Halifax-class frigate; one with a Sikorsky rescue helicopter and the 2nd with empty flight deck but the option to set manually a Sikorsky navy helicopter onto the flight deck.
The ships come with navigation bridge, sounds and special effects, like a simulated Harpoon-missile launch. Eleven cameras let you explore each ship. In the VC-mode(F9) you are sailing in formation behind the 2nd frigate. The AI-ship models with the textures are made by Jean-Pierre Fillion. Features for a pilotable version with panel, camera- effect- and VC-configuration by Erwin Welker.
