FS2004 /FSX Tripoli International (HLLT) Scenery. A large effort has been made in designing
this airport to make it look as real as the original, lots of objects desigined by me and
another were also use to speed up the process of designing of the airport as it took me almost
6 month to complete, in FSX you may notice that few textures or objects do not show correctly
a lot more work needs to be done, but my schedule is full, hopfully there is going to be updates
in the future.

File Description:
This is a reenactment for the Boeing B777-200 United Airlines flight 928 from Chicago KORD to Heathrow EGLL. NOTE: This file is aimed at users of the PSS B777 ONLY!!! Any 777 user can use this file, but I adjusted the loadouts to fit the LR, since the bird in the movie is NOT an LR model, so weights and fuel were different. I will also be publishing other reenactments for Just Planes and ITVV videos. If you like this, you can also check out my Leisure 767 reenactment from the wonderful ITVV video, also here on AVSIM. | 1960 - Delivery flight of Viscount VH-RMK - Omaha to Melbourne, the long way round. |

File Description:
This FS2004 (FS9) flight replicates the route taken by Ansett-ANA's Viscount VH-RMK (previously Continental Airlines' N241V) when it was delivered - by an Ansett crew - from Omaha, Nebraska to Essendon airport, Melbourne.
The crew consisted of Cpt. C. Lister (in command), Cpt. D. Bull, First Officer J. Farrell, Navigator W. Kennedy and Flt. Engineer J. Howard.
The flight commenced on the morning of September 17th. 1960 and took 12 days, the route being across the continental United States to Chicago, thence to Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Scotland, United Kingdom, Italy, Greece, UAR, Pakistan, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Phillipines, Indonesia and finally Australia.
You may wonder why they took the "long way round" rather than ferry the aircraft across the Pacific route: very simply, the Viscount did not have the range required to safely transit the distances between the only refuelling points available down through the Pacific Ocean.

File Description:
Richard I. Bong AFB, Brighton, Wis. Originally designed out in the 1950's as a NORAD Base with the 56th FIG assigned to cover the Milwaukee/Chicago region the Great Lakes. Later it was transferred to SAC as a B-47/KC-97 installations and the 4040th Air Base Squadron taking command of the base. Initial drainage and the runway were laid out and the runway was within 3 days of being poured when the project was cancelled and the base closed. The base later became the Richard Bong State Recreation Area west of Kenosha, Wis. on US-142. The layout of the runway can be seen by satellite. This is the first of two versions of this base, this has the B-47/KC-97 layout, the second (KBRT RI Bong-B-52) will be B-52/KC-135. Both are set-up for the NORAD unit (56th FIG) using F-101 Voodoo aircraft. Check readme for requirements.
